(D5 LM) Damsel in Distress

[Galen Sol]

Galen remained silent, letting the others settle things first.

[Evangeline Ulter]

"Yeah. I tried to keep it as hidden from the Hutts as possible too."

She chuckled. "I'm not sure if my skills will be helpful if I'm not in a position of power. But you did get my attention on one of those." She tapped at her datapad. "All of you have ships. Always room for upgrades, so I hear.'

[Galen Sol]

"I don't have a ship." Galen corrected. "And, Xereau won't have a ship if Ryssa gets her way."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I might be interested in it... if we can get the codes changed over." It was always good to have a bolt hole, and at worst case he could sell it.

"Course my ship could always use some upgrades as well, and well money always has a place in a man's heart."

[Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren nodded. "Yes indeed, definitely room for upgrades." He looked over at Galen. "Maybe she's got the keys to a frieghter lying around somewhere if you're needing a ship?"

[Nekoinu]

"You can have the room. Not like I'd be using it again."

She shrugged. "Maybe I can help with the Starcross situation. Not sure what I can do for you, though."

The blonde then nodded at Jo'ren. "We'll see if I can't pull some strings."

[Galen Sol]

"It would be appreciated." he nodded. "Otherwise, some supplies to help us when we go to war with her, would be nice."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He smiled. "Figured that might be the case, and this might spare you a few credits as well. Presuming my friends here don't mindvforgetting where it was." He glanced towards Galen then Jo'ren.

[Galen Sol]

"It's a bit claustrophobic for my tastes, Zane." Galen shook his head. "As nice as it might be to have more than my bunk."

[Jo'ren Rath]

"Alright, sounds like we're each getting something useful out of all this." He nodded, seeming satisfied.

"I've already forgotten about it Z."

[Nekoinu]

"There. Business done. Thank kriffing goodness." She reached over and grabbed one more tablet from the painkillers. "Feels good to not be dead."

[Jo'ren Rath]

The big Sith nodded. "Sure does. Now you'll appreciate every day like a you never did before. Guess you get to come up with a convincing excuse for dying later. Anyway, here's my comm so you can get in touch. Ship's the Terror Star." He held up a hand. "Don't start, I didn't name it. I'll let the crew know to expect a visit."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'd have to agree. I've already decided on my way of going out, and blaster bolts are not involved."

He raised an eyebrow after hearing the name of Jo'ren's ship. These sith really needed to work on their naming sense. "Never put much stock in that appreciating each day like you never did before business. Still was nice to meetcha Jo'ren."

[Galen Sol]

"I can appreciate living in the moment." Galen shrugged. "But, I've spent most of my life nearly dying. Thanks for killing so many of those guys Jo'ren."

[Jo'ren Rath]

The big Sith shrugged. "Appreciate it, or don't. I don't give a fuck. Do what you want, that's the key." He gave a little salute to Galen. "You're welcome Galen, Zane. We made a good team today."

He looked back at Evangeline. "You need any help with your escape plan or have you got it covered?"

[Evangeline Ulter]

"I'll be able to escape. Just need to call the right people."

She looked up to the Sith and smiled weakly. "You should did kill a kriff ton... Would hate to get on your bad side."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That's the truth." He looked around for a moment in search of his whiskey. He'd handed it to someone he swore.

"Are we done then?" He asked. "Because I don't know about the rest of you, but I need sex, whiskey, and a smoke, in no specific order. And if we're through I think I'll be getting to one of those."

[Galen Sol]

"I don't smoke." Galen shook his head. "Are you staying hete, Evangeline? I assumed you'd call for secure transport to another location. If that's the case, I'd rather wait until you're on your way."

[Zanebry Varliss]

More talking, Z repressed the urge to sigh, the reaching into his pocket produced his pack of smokes. "This isn't a no smoking establishment is it?" He murmured mostly to himself before flicking a cigarette between his lips. He'd light it a moment later unless someone stopped him.

[Jo'ren Rath]

"I'll be able to escape. Just need to call the right people."

She looked up to the Sith and smiled weakly. "You should did kill a kriff ton... Would hate to get on your bad side."

"Yeah, my good side is better for your health. And I can be a good friend to have." He reached down and patted her arm. "Thanks for getting ambushed. I'd been needing a good rampage."

As Zane lit up a smoke Jo'ren took that as a cue. "Well, I've got Sith things to do. Don't get yourselves killed. I'll look forward to hearing from you soon Evangeline."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Enjoy your sith things Jo'ren. If I'm not dead tomorrow maybe I'll see you again." He offered the man a wave before taking a drag of his cigarette.

Slowly exhaling with a sigh. "It's been a long day."

[Nekoinu]

"Farewell, Jo'ren. I'll drop you a note before I disappear."

She then learned back on her bed and sighed. "And I thought me confessing about being complicit in Aris' death was a fucking buzzkill. I haven't seen anyone get that angry before."

[Galen Sol]

"Take care of yourself and find more idiots to kill." Galen said as the Sith departed.

"Some people just get mad." he shrugged.

[Jo'ren Rath]

The big Sith walked out, preparing himself for the rest of the battles he might have to fight today.

With Jo'ren gone he sat up again glancing towards Evangeline. "I don't think I need to tell you this, but I wouldn't go to Dantooine."

"As for his anger, well a lot of sith are like that. Overprivleged I think you call it."
