[Zanebry Varliss]

Zanebry swayed his way through the streets of shadow town, on his way to one last meeting with Jal. Honestly the Information broker might not be happy with the state of things, but he was going to finish this deal one way or another.

He had went about his day almost as if nothing was wrong. Even going for a late drink, it had partially been to keep an eye open for strangers, but also because he needed a bit of time to think.

He kept his eyes open as he walked. Looking for signs of anyone following him.

"Well, well, if it isn't the famous man on the news. That's one way of looking into her." Jal looked past Zanebry and then back at him. "I assume you have something good to tell me then."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Yeah, I know who she was talking to and why." He reached a hand towards his pocket, pausing before he got too far along. "Mind if I get my cigarettes?" He asked before continuing.

The broker looked at his hand carefully and then nodded.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I almost forget sometimes that some us are properly wary when someone reaches into their pocket." Zane mused as he retrieved his smokes, popping one between his lips and lightning it. "So what do you want first? The who she was talking to? The why?"

[Nekoinu]

Jal seemed to ease up only by a little when he saw that it was truly a cigarette. "Let's start with who. That gives me better context."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"She was speaking with the Crescent Shadow." It was a simple and straight forward answer, he knew Jal would know who he was talking about.

[Nekoinu]

"Alright." He pursed his lips and then nodded. "Alright, full picture first. Why?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Because of Aris N'Ventas." He offered, explaining more a few moments latter. "She sold him out, heard a bit of what he was planning with his next job, and got cold feet, the job was bad, she didn't want anything to do with it. So she found someone wanted information on what he was planning."

[Nekoinu]

"How did they in touch with each other?" he then stopped. "How did you get this out of her anyways?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"She didn't get into details, and honestly I forgot to ask." He flashed a smile. "She was injured hurting, and had almost died. She spilled it pretty easily after I feed her a bit of whiskey."

[Nekoinu]

"That's all it took?" He shook his head. "You didn't think to ask? I specifically gave you the job, Zanebry.'

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Aye, and I was thinking all you were wanting was the who and why of it. Maybe I can throw a bit of other information though? Make it up to you?"

[Nekoinu]

Jal let out a sigh. "Alright, alright, I'll hear it. What do you have for me?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well there are a few things I could offer." He replied after taking a buff from his cigarette. "Anything in particular you are looking for?"

[Nekoinu]

"You're talking to me, Zanebry. I value all information. But if you really want me to be specific, the comings and goings of both the Republic and Empire would be helpful. Any more intel on Crescent Shadow would be good.'

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Mmmm... I can give you a bit of that, though some of it is likely stuff you already know." He paused thoughtfully. "Remmington Thalalaus, I'm sure you might recognize the name. Captain of the Valkyries and known to piss off the Hutts mighty fierce. Seems like he put together a team of some of the Empires and Republics best and brightest on his way here. To rig the games as it were. He was betting heavy on them too, in the thousands."

"He was in hyperspace earlier today, traveling can't say I know the where of it exactly, buy he's definitely off world for something. If I chat with him again and hear, I'll let you know."

[Nekoinu]

"Ah, yes. Dango the Hutt is dealing with him already, so I hear." He shuffled in his feet. "What else do you have for me?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Jo'ren Rath has some important business brewing On Mak'eb it would seem.. Seems like he is in pretty desperate need of a faster hyperdrive, and I can tell you that he'll likely be getting it. He leave our little chat today after the rescue in a hurry. He also leaked that some of his companions have been looking into that target of Aris's next theft wanted to finish what he started."

[Nekoinu]

"You two are practically famous, alongside the guy with the rifle." Jal smirked and then nodded. "Right. Aris' job. A lot of money in it."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Quite a bit from everything I understand." He replied with a nod, taking a long pull of his cigarette. Releasing the smoke into the air he let his eyes land on Jal.

"Not the type of thing I'd want to be involved in, far too dangerous with all these people with light swords running around."

[Nekoinu]

"Worse than that, Zanebry. The danger isn't in the acquisition. It's how they could use it."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Already have an idea of what it is then, do you?" He smirked, he should of figured. "What do you figure should be done then? Things like that shouldn't be left in the hands of either side."

[Nekoinu]

"I do. I'm an information broker, Zanebry." He looked around and then back to the investigator. "There're two schools of thought here. Money or 'morality' if you want to call it that."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He chuckled dryly, snuffing his cigarette out between two fingers and placing it in the small case he carried for these things. "As odd as it might sound coming from a man like me Jal. Generally speaking I'm on moralities side when it comes to this type of thing."
