Again, the Sith lord was present in Shadow Town looking to collect info on the whereabouts of the Moff's daughter. He walked with Col Moraal, trying to aid her as he could in the investigation. It wasn't his strong suit but he did what he could to help her out.

By this time, Hala had set up a small command center in the town square. And by small command center, she had had the mess hall deliver rations for two squads of troopers. One ate while the other was out canvassing for leads. She pulled up her map of Smuggler's moon and highlighted likely locations for the slaver to be storing his prize before she could be transported off-world. And that's when one trooper came jogging up to Zeno and snapped to a crisp and wary salute.

He smirked. "Good news I'm hoping. Go ahead," he says giving the man leave to speak, looking to Hala.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

The trooper stiffened again before nodding and beginning.

"My lord. One of the local tenement lords said that they had someone matching the Moff's daughter's description and that her apartment had gone unpaid for nearly a week. He was going to post a note to debt collections, but given the circumstances he said he would just take the possessions left in the room as collateral and be satisfied.... I- Um... sir... my lord... I don't think we have any way to stop him without getting the Hutts involved and he pulled up a contract and said he was perfectly within his rights.... but the girl's supposedly vanished and following her trail from there she was last seen in the warehouse district, sub-level 2."

Hala walked back over to her map and, given his report, pointed to two warehouses it could have been.

"Can you tell us anything else, private?"

"Er, yes ma'am. She'd been hanging out with a group of Bothans... and a Gank."

"My lord," she said, turning her eyes up to Zeno, "There are several gank markings on one of these warehouses. I believe that is where you should make your infiltration."

"Alright," he says with a nod. "Our presence here may have put them on edge. Let's disperse and send the troops back to the compound and let the commotion die down a bit so they they will feel safe in their hole. I'll take care of it personally and return the moffs daughter to you. Just let a few of the soldiers know to be on standby nearby so they can provide a proper escort and any medical services necessary for her after I secure her."

"I'll direct a med team to be on standby with triage equipment and nutritional supplements just in case they haven't been taking care of her," Hala nodded. She turned away briefly, sent out two clicks over her intercom, then lifted her left arm up and spun her hand.

"We're heading out. If you're on mess break, double time it then head back. Squad leaders, I'll have your reports by 1000 tomorrow, galactic standard."

"The way you take command is quite a sight. I like your professional, no nonsense attitude. Very efficient and effective. The Empire is fortunate to have you and I'm fortunate to be working with you."

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"You are most kind, my lord. Perhaps I've been favored by superiors who likewise prefer to minimize the politics. I'm still quite aware that my current rank and posting has a political attenuation, so I observe them when I must but prefer to focus my energies on efficiency," she said with a slight, appreciative smile.

"By the way. I've brought a bite to eat as I offered earlier," he says, moving to collect a box from one of the tables in the temporary command center that was now being packed up. "I ended up getting some nyork chowder. Hopefully it agrees with you."

"I have little doubt it will, thank you," she said, taking it with her right hand stiffly. She then opened it with her left, slipped the spoon from the field mess kit, and began to quickly wolf down the chowder with a few choice appreciative noises.

"A lunch to go in the middle of Shadow Town," he says with a chuckle. "We should get dinner sometime instead. Sit down and chat."

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Have you found someplace you like on the moon yet? The only times I've eaten outside of the mess hall, before now, have been for diplomatic reasons."

"I've been to a few places, but I actually like to explore and find something new. There are too many different things to try to just go to the same place every time."
