Super Secret Stuff (EN D5)

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane made a deter from her date with Zane to stop by the office of SIS, after taking precautions to not be spotted. She gave the correct codes and entered the inner sanctum....before long the analysts were debriefing her.

....she had been told to wait for now, while they mulled over the little information she had.

[Nekoinu]

An aging man was found behind his desk, his expression serious. "I am Matthias Norsoa, one of the handlers of the SIS. The contents message has become a priority for me, young lady. So, I would like to hear your full account."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"There is not much to tell," Yslane frowned, "Just what was forwarded to your men....I haven't really been looking into this affair before tonight, the tip just sort of fell into my lap."

"I can tell you the source was not overtly affiliated with the Sith....or us for that matter."

[Nekoinu]

"Young lady, I very much insist that you disclose your source to me. It would help us figure out why he sent you this tip."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I promised I would not....this would risk further information from them," Yslane frowns, "I can tell you that it was probably an independent investigation that brought they individual into contact with this."

[Nekoinu]

Matthias leaned back in his chair. "A promise isn't something to keep if the security of our Republic is at risk." He sighed and then looked back to a cabinet. "May I get you a drink, Miss Tssilla?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Its not going to have truth serum in is it?" She smiled wearily, "A poor joke, I wouldn't mind a drink Mr Norsoa"

[Nekoinu]

The handler cracked a smile. "Now what would I be if I thought I could drug a Jedi?" He pulled out two glasses and poured the bottle out scotch for both of them. He placed the bottle back in the cabinet and then raised his glass. "To a safe Republic."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"To the Republic," She smiled and followed him in drinking, "I take it...given your interest this is a problem you have been working on?"

[Nekoinu]

"You are correct, Miss Tssilla." Matthias peered at her for a few moments. "It is my imperative to make sure Aris' 'successors' do not interfere or retrieve this project. Does your source intend on acting on the information you gave me?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"They didn't say, I got the impression that they were not." Yslane sighs, "Of course that doesn't help you. How did all this even come about?"

[Nekoinu]

Matthias sipped from his glass and stared at the woman sitting in front of him. "That is a long story, one that I believe would only result in disturbing you." He traced the edge of his glass with his finger. "I trust in your abilities, Miss Tssilla. That is why I must ask you to convince the others to abandon their heist. In the case that does not happen, then I am forced to suggest dismantling it forcefully." The handler pulled up his datapad and began typing out a message. "The scalpel or the sledgehammer..."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Other's heist?" Yslane frowned, "What do you mean?"

[Nekoinu]

"The ones who took over Aris N'ventas' resources."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I haven't looked into this matter...can I ask who you suspect to be working on securing it?" She takes another sip.

[Nekoinu]

"There are a few members of the Republic present there. Senator Morindel, the turncoat Baesal Zyn, and Lieutenant Varra. Nonpartisan members are the crew of the Tortoise. Finally, the Sith have Colonel Morall and two purebloods, Jo'ren Rath and Shaisha Vreysk. "

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I am familiar with all of our own, save Lt Varra....and both Colonel Morall and Vreysk. Though all on only a passing level." Yslane swirled her glass around. "But with some of our own working on this? Are you worried they will not be able to handle it?"

[Nekoinu]

"I am worried that they do not know what they are doing." He sighed and took a large sip from his scotch. "Miss Tssilla, I am sure that Republic interests can be withdrawn. But I need the Sith and the mercenaries to retract their interest as well."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I am not sure I can talk any of them out of this...." Yslane raised a brow, "Are you asking me to...take care of them?"

[Nekoinu]

"For the good of the Republic. Granted, I am not asking you to eliminate two Sith apprentices on your own. But I am asking you to hamper their efforts. Destroy their data, sabotage their ships."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I'll see what I can do...." Yslane frowns, "Right now I have other...pressing issues to handle."

[Nekoinu]

Matthias frowned. "If the Empire gets a hands on this project, they will be unleashing hell upon our soldiers. Do you wish to be responsible for their deaths, young lady? Do you?!" He coughed and brought his temper back down. "Don't disappoint me."

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane blinked, "Very well, I'll do what I can. But anyone else involved in this has several hours or days head start on me. And I would ask you not doubt my commitment to the Republic. Its not lightly I said there were other pressing issues." She sighs, "Also let me be clear: if this is a biological or chemical weapon and I have the chance, no one will have it. Not the Empire, not those who stand alone, and not us."

[Nekoinu]

The handler readjusted the collar of his shirt. "Forgive me. I've had issues with a few agents questioning their loyalties. I did not know what to expect of someone outside of the SIS."

He stared at her. "I will see that you have help to stop the Empire from acquiring it."

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane studied the man for a moment, "Any other requests from SIS?"
