So I have been on Nar Shaddaa before...

As she makes her way through Shadow Town, wearing her armor underneath the concealing robes, Shaisha wonders what could've brought the Emperor's attention to this place. And if it really was such a good idea to go poking at these old trails again... last time she had done so had earned her a tree to the face, after all.

She opens herself up to the Force, letting the Dark Side show her the way...

She learns of someone that might know a local criminal security analyst but he is currently being investigated by a hard nosed Jedi. The name is Fewzana and she is a wookiee.

Figuring it is a good a lead as any, Shaisha tries to find this analyst.

Wookie, huh? Seem to be all the rage these days...

Not hard to find, she runs something of an electronic gambling hall nearby.

Heading over to the gambling hall, Shaisha slips on her mask and pulls the cowl and hood of the cloak up so that her features as a pureblooded Sith isn't an immediate giveaway.

As she reaches the establishement, she inquires for the analyst Fewzana.

Outside she notices a Jedi leaning by the door as if waiting for someone.

Must be this hard-nosed Jedi I heard about...

Since he was standing by there door... well, he would surely notice her, but she hopes that a robed and masked person wouldn't catch too much attention with the Jedi, and she tries to make her way in. Hopefully without getting Jedi-frisked.

The Jedi says, "Going inside, stranger? I wouldn't, the wookiee has been cheating people out of their creds."

“Easily said, Sith,” he says standing to his full height. “I am sure the one who murdered my kin on Dantooine says the same thing. These people are under my protection if you have come to rouse violence.”

"If I must defend myself, that is the only violence I will dispense for now. As I said, I seek only information."

She holds her hands out to show that she isn't holding any weapons. At the moment.

"You must be the Jedi that I heard is after someone in that establishement. Perhaps we both can get what we want out of this?"

[Balos Tyl]

“You want to work with me?” he says suspiciously.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha shrugs. "I've worked with members of your Republic before here on Nar Shaddaa, so I don't see why it should be an issue now. Do I need to drop names and accomplishements too?"

[Balos Tyl]

"I trust my fellow Jedi, I don't trust Sith. As far as I am concerned you're all monsters... but it would be rude for me to not give you a chance to prove me wrong. Or prove me right," he says calmly.

"After you."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

At least he was a gentleman, right? Sure hope I won't regret this...

Shaisha steps in first, though wary of trouble... both from behind with the Jedi, and from the front... because this was Nar Shaddaa after all.

[Dapper Dog]

Balos follows, the interior was smoky and cramped with pinging and ringing electronic machines. A protocol droid is working a front counter and there are three cramped rows of machines and a few customers gambling away their lives.

OOC: Perception check at Average.

The din of the machines and the smoke was... annoying, eating away at her concentraiton.

The din and smoke were indeed distracting, but the whine of a speeder peeling out from the in front of the establishment catches her ears and a turn to see a furry rider taking off into the night!

Balos scowls and says, "Sneaky wookiee!"

OOC: Skullduggery or Mechanics at Easy to steal a speeder. If successful the chase will be on. The Wookie starts at Long range and the roll is Piloting Planetary at Simple difficulty (no difficulty) with a setback die due to traffic.

Spotting a nearby speeder that could take two in the driver's seat, Shaisha quickly bypasses its security as she 'borrows' it.

Could I use the Advantages for a Boost on the Piloting roll? Like, found a good speeder?

Cue the music...

Balos hops on behind her and says through gritted teeth, "You... smell nice." The wookiee was already pretty far ahead as she weaves through the traffic on her speeder!

OOC: Gain a Boost die to all rolls in the chase due to speedy Speeder.

"Wha..." She didn't swerve at the unexpected comment (Flattery? Veiled insult?), but Balos rather odd attempt at charm didn't help someone who was more used to stalking her prey on her own two feet rather than having a high-speed chase through Nar Shaddaa's traffic.
