[D6 - MM] Bring Me Back My Rhodey! (Zeno's room)

[Rumun Gol]

So this is going to be awkward. The pirate queen asked Rumun to ask Zeno to return some information that he stole from her, or that he is keeping safe. This information seems to be crucial for finding the famous hutt treasure ship that queen is obsessed to find.

Rumun is not interested in the ship, nor such thing as treasures. He is interested in the potential alliance between the Nova Devils and the Sith Empire, guaranteed by Darth Hoshi.

In any case, the duro is outside Lord Deathwright's room.

[Zeno Deathwright]

Waking to the sound of someone at the door, Zeno stirs, leaning over to kiss Asra. He doesn't say anything, simply leaving the bed and room to go answer the door after pulling on his pants and belt. One does not simply answer a door without their lightsabers in an Imperial compound.

The door opens up, and Zeno smirks at the Duros he hadn't seen for some time. "Come on in Rumun. Haven't spoken since Korriban. How are things going for yourself and with Hoshi?"

[Luth Khalan]

Asra stirs a little, taking a long breath in and out. She's awake enough to return the kiss, but is content to stay where she is and listen to the conversation in the other room for the moment.

[Rumun Gol]

'' My Lord Deathwright '' Rumun bowed respectfully to the Sith Lord. '' I hope this is not a bad moment. If so, please forgive me for coming without previous notice.''

'' Well, things have being going well with Darth Hoshi lately. I'm sure you heard about her crushing victory in the Outer Rim. Soon she will destroy the republic fleet once and for all. '' He told Zeno. '' What about you my Lord? How is your apprenticeship with Darth Zash going? '' He asked politely.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"It's fine. Feeling pretty good this morning. And Darth Hoshi is an inspiration to the Sith," he says with a nod.

"My apprenticeship has been going well also. So, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"

[Rumun Gol]

'' Well, unfortunately business and politics. '' He said.

'' My master campaign in the Outer Rim has been successful but also quite costly. Wars are expensive as you may know. Her fleet is mostly composed of various pirate ships and former slaves and her influence over this part of the galaxy is growing stronger with each passing day. ''

'' She is interested in brokering an alliance between the Nova Devils and the Sith Empire. The Nova Devils are the biggest pirate fleet in the region and they have deep ties to the Hutts. So I went to the Seven Devils yesterday and spoke with their queen, Thaya Kess. She was interested in such alliance but she is also wary because about her previous deals with the Sith Order members. ''

To the point.

'' With you in particular, I'm afraid. It seems that you have some sort of information she wants, information that has the potential to find the hutt treasure ship she desire. She wants that information in exchange for the alliance. '' The duro said with neutral tone.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Yeah. I have a Rodian with the information she wants. I was interested in working an alliance with her. I chose to utilize the Rodian as leverage due to mistrust. But if Darth Hoshi is interested and willing to back up the deal then I would be willing to return her to Kess. I never had anything personal against the pirate queen," he says with a nod.

"I can approach and hail her, letting her know that with the introduction of Darth Hoshi into the issue I have come to see the error of my decision. It's better for the Empire as a whole. I'd want to knock this out quickly though. The others I was working with and myself were getting into the beginning stages of a plan to lure the queen into a trap centered on the treasure ship to eliminate her, since she stated that she planned on destroying us."

"We can head out immediately. It would be preferable to do so as soon as possible in order to keep the others in the dark," he says with a nod.

[Rumun Gol]

'' Excellent. I'm glad that you share my master's interests as well. '' He nods and smiles.

'' Well, I cannot blame you my Lord for distrusting them. Pirates certainly are not the most trustworthy people but with my master's own word, and power, they will surely see that working alongside the Empire is much more lucrative that opposing it.''

'' If you had proceeded with that other plan chaos would have reigned. The pirate queen brings stability to the underworld. Without her various smaller pirate operations would have popped everywhere in the region.'' Rumun commented about Zeno's companions' plan.

'' Unfortunately I have an important meeting with Remmington Thalalas and with Lady Niriti later, but if possible, we could go to the Seven Devils during [EA-MA]. We deliver the information and broker the alliance with my master and the pirate queen.''

'' You have a ship, right? If not you are most welcome to come with me in my own Greyspectre. ''

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I argued the same thing to the others when they discussed trying to find allies among the Hutts. For all the annoyance Kess presents to them, she also represents a singular entity that can influence the pirates in the region. I suspected the Hutts would prefer keeping her in place over having to deal with disparate pirate groups in their home system."

"I do have my own ship, but it may be better to take yours so that we aren't shot down on sight," he says with a nod. "Early afternoon then. I'll transfer the Rodian to your ship and we can head there then. Work towards getting the pirate queen on the side of the Empire and see this through."

[Rumun Gol]

Rumun nods.

'' Well then. Here, this is the platform number where my ship is currently docked and if I happen to be a bit late you can talk to my crew members, a female Twi'lek named Tikala and a protocol droid 2V-T5. You can wait for me in my ship. It's a small freighter but it is comfortable enough. '' Rumun gave Zeno the information about his ship.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Sounds good. It will be a bit awkward probably. She'll still be sore about it, but things should work out," he replies.

[Luth Khalan]

Asra finally gets up from the bed in the other room, getting dressed and tapping out a quick message to Naveera on her comlink, "I know it's a little early, but let's get together in an hour or so. ," before going about the basic procedures to get ready for her day in the other room while they talk. She didn't want to interrupt, after all. That would be rude.

[Rumun Gol]

'' Don't worry , my Lord. I know she will see reason and a lucrative treaty is better than a Sith as an enemy. '' Rumun bowed once again.

'' I do not wish to waste any more of your time. Thanks for receiving me my Lord. ''

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Of course Rumun. And Zeno's fine. I'll see you later," he replies with a nod.

[Rumun Gol]

Rumun walked away. He goes to the Mezenti star port.

/exit. Asra and Zeno can continue to rp if they want ^^

Just in his slacks, he goes to the kitchen and grabs some water, carrying it back to the bedroom. "Leaving so soon?" he asks with a chuckle. "We can have breakfast if you like."

[Luth Khalan]

She smiled warmly as she sees him. "Nah, just getting dressed and semi-ready to be functional today." She chuckles a little herself. "I'd like that. I would have come out, but I didn't want to interrupt."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"It's fine," he says with a smirk, offering her the water he brought. "I'll make some eggs. You do eggs?"

[Luth Khalan]

She accepts it and takes a long drink. "Thank you. And yes, eggs sound lovely."

[Zeno Deathwright]

Heading back to the kitchen, he goes through the refrigerator to get what he needs. "I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed. Nights don't last long enough and we have other things to do."

[Luth Khalan]

She follows him this time, finding a convenient place to sit. "It is sad that there are only so many hours in the night, and one should usually rest for some of them. If not, the barrel gets a little..." She puts her hands in an aiming position, facing the wall, and mimes the gun bobbing up and down.

"Gotta practice your cardio to get your endurance up," he says with a playful laugh.

[Luth Khalan]

"Well, fortunately, I hear what we did yesterday was pretty good exercise," she notes with a smile and nod, eyebrows up.

[Zeno Deathwright]

He turns on a burner just before he begins working on the eggs, cracking, beating and mixing in some seasoning. "Well, it's also a very enjoyable way to get exercise in as well."

"What do they usually feed you for breakfast in the chow hall here?"

[Luth Khalan]

She shrugs. "Military rations. I mean, I'm a non-com, so it isn't totally terrible for me, but for the most part... they're rations. They range from moderately okay to moderately questionable."
