The pursuit of a Nikto assassin Virnu led Moyr into the well-known cesspool of the Shadow Town. With considerable effort that involved one minor brawl she managed to track him down and corner him. She was closing in from the shadows, wanting to decommission him with her electric stunner before chopping his head off...

...but in the end some preternatural sense alerted him and he darted out of the alleyway, into the open. Moyr cursed under her breath. She should have brought someone to cut him off.

The purpose and the money were gone. Well, most of it, she still had a valid reason not to go to the wedding. She moved out, traversing the Shadow Town in search for Zios' shop.

Zios smiled when the Red Wraith came in again. "Hello, hello, hello! I have just the thing for you." He presented a singular pistol in the middle of an illuminated table. "It's very good! I also set up a target if you'd like to try it out!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"A very peculiar build, I admit." Moyr weighted the weapon in her hand after invitations. "But I think I could get used to. Now that I see it, I think it's long enough to install an optical scope on it. Would you have a suitable model available? I'd prefer to test it with the scope at a long range." The contact with the sharpshooting pistol made her feel comfortable. She always wanted something like this when she had been a smuggler.

Zios nodded and ran over to his box of doodads. He shuffled through them like a madman until he found a suitable one. He sprinted back to her and held it out. "Would you like me to install it or you? Typically I find it really, really fun but you could if you like since it'll be YOUR gun!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I'll let a professional do it." Her voice sounded cheerful. Then, she produced two smaller blasters. "I guess I won't be needing those, but they are in very good shape. I bet you could find new, happy users for them. Could they be a part of our settlement?"

[Nekoinu]

"Oh, these are like collectibles then! I don't get to have touched your lightsaber but I do have the Red Wraith's used blasters!" He nodded and took the pistol. Despite his eccentricities, it appeared that at least knew how to put on a scope properly. "Here you go!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"The light one is a recent acquisition, but the holdout certainly is a weapon with a history. It had been with me since even before I became a Sith. I took out my first tuk'ata with it on Korriban. But if you're looking for more true collectibles, this may interest you too." She produced a combat knife. "This once belonged to Faln, a former apprentice of Darth Zash. I gutted him with it and retrieved a kyber crystal from his innards, the one that fuels my lightsabre right now. Why had he swallowed it is beyond me, but my instincts led me straight to it. It happened on the first day of my stay on Korriban, even before I reached the Academy. We were just cast to the desert to survive, and there I encountered Faln. That made me the first to acquire a crystal from among the aspirants." She looked at Zios. "Those have sentimental value to me but I am ready to part with them knowing they will be in your good hands."

[Nekoinu]

"Ah, yes, I will put these in my collection then!" He nodded happily. "I like to know the history of my weapons. Sure, there was that ancient sword but, but, but! I didn't know whom it was wielded by. Some ancient droid is not as worthy of a wielder as the Red Wraith, no, no, no!" A pause. "Guess Evangeline isn't really enjoying it anymore!" Another pause. "Aw... I liked her."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"She was a really resourceful person, it was a pleasure to deal with her. Truly a pity. I wonder why she became a target of such a large-scale attack." Moyr mused solemnly. "Someone should liquidate her assets though. As a close friend, you could have a claim over some of her possessions. Like you said, she does not need them any more."

[Nekoinu]

"Oh, oh, oh, but I do not have the aptitude for it! I believe Thera Ordo is making her case and she's a better shot than me! I hate to admit it but it's true!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"It wouldn't hurt talking to Thera. She may need someone to introduce her to some inner workings of the Moon. She hadn't been operating on the same level, and with assets come obligations. Those that Evangeline owed something to will come knocking. If you help Thera get out of some of those troubles, she will owe you instead. And since she's that good, it's not a bad person to have on your good side, Mr Thran."

She smirked.

"Let's try this beauty. Where's your shooting range?" She mock-tested aiming on the door. "I already know I will want to customise the grip at some point. It could fit my hand better."

[Nekoinu]

"Thera was closest to her operation. But yes, somebody will need to help her." He nodded with a bright smile. "Yes, yes, yes! I will talk to the Mandalorian about what can be done."

Zios nodded and led his customer along to his shooting range. It was nothing special, perhaps even bland considering the atmosphere. "Go ahead and blast the heck out of that target!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

Moyr took to it slowly, standing forth with her side, hand outstretched, aiming... aiming... boom.

"Excellent work, Red Wraith! I must say that the pistol absolutely suits you!" He smiled. "And here I thought you were just a lightsaber sort of woman! Multifaceted is the way of the Red Wraith, it seems!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Like I said, I had had a life that involved shooting before I became a Sith." She weighed it in her hand again. "It's good to be versatile... but I feel this beauty could pack more punch. Do you have modifications that would increase the particle acceleration?"

[Asking for a Blaster Actuating Module.]

[Nekoinu]

"Of course I do!" The Duros ran back to his component bin and dug through it. He came back to the woman and presented it. "Properly upgraded this will let you pierce many things! Not everything though. I don't do false advertising!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

She studied the actuator. "It looks customisable... probably the punch is at a cost of a recoil though. I'd need to get used to it. How much would you charge me for it?"

[Nekoinu]

"That runs market standard at 500 Credits! The Hutts did say to hike up the prices for Republic and Empire types but I don't need to do that with you!" A pause. "I also can't just give that to you! As much as I like you, if I gave heavy discounts on everything, I'd go broke!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Of course you need to earn and uphold your reputation. Then, Mr Thran, help me attach the module and select a custom grip, which should be around this price too, and you get a round one thousand credits from me."

[Nekoinu]

"Ah, yes. That sounds excellent!" He installed the actuator with the same precision as before and then looked to Moyr's hands. "May I inspect your hands to help me adjust the grip?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

She extended her shooting hand. "I trust you to be professional." She chuckled with amusement.

"If I wasn't, then I wouldn't be a success!" He took her hand and examined it closely. Then he took out some spare parts and began to fiddle with the grip. "Try this." Afterwards, it appeared he was not pleased with the results. He readjusted it one more time and presented it again. "Good, good, good?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"It feels a little slippery without a concavity for the thumb." She made her judgement. "Or maybe inlaid skin of some reptilian for the handle would solve the problem?"

[Nekoinu]

Zios nodded and added some lizard skin from his collection to the hilt. "What about now? Hm, hm?!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

She gripped it. "The fit is tight, good. Let's check it again."

She aimed for a moment, then gave a shot. It was a narrow hit, but what it did with the dummy...
