One Baras. Coming Right Up! (D6, LA)

[Sylvain Torsin]

As soon as he arrived on planet, Sylvain walked into the designated bar provided to him by Watcher 5 and approached the contact that he had been told about. He offered the password to the man after a brief bit of conversation.

[Dapper Dog]

The man nods, a dour looking chiss with a potbelly and then gesture to an empty booth. The music as typical cantina fare and a hutt was enjoying the dancing of an older twi’lek woman on the stage. It was dark out and the dive was lightly populated with drunks and criminals.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain (and potentially his blonde partner) moved over to the indicated booth and ordered drinks while he waited.

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal offered the use of her ship which they used to arrive, and brought along Weaver to pilot at the least while the others kept to their assigned tasks. While Weaver remained with the ship Kristal had set out with Sylvain. Standard casual attire that was a bit more ready for the environment of Nal Hutta than most.

Accompanying Sylvain she kept a constant albeit discrete vigil. Sitting down in the booth beside Sylvain but cared not to find out the quality of the drinks served in a place like this.

"I prefer the dive's in space," she said, thinking on her time with the Seven Devils. "The smell doesn't cling quite as vigorously."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain chuckled as he heard the voice behind him. "This seems like the type of work that will require I good trip to the refresher once completed."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I could not take enough trips to the refresher enough to wash myself of this planets filth," she said, taking the spare moment they had.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "The lengths you go to serve the Empire are remarkable my dear."

He smiled, "Next we'll have to go somewhere much more beautiful to relax."

[Kristal Serasai]

"As I have learned, more beautiful tends to come with the longer line of red tape and obstacles," she said revealing hints of her time on Makeb naturally.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"If I'm good for anything, it's getting us past red tape." He smiled.

"But it sounds like Makeb might not be where you'd like to go."

[Kristal Serasai]

"There may be some difficulties there if you plan to book a resort," she said straight, but it was clear to Sylvain that Kristal enjoyed her own sense of humor at least.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Do I need to send an apology letter to a hutt?" He chuckled.

"Pay for some damages maybe?"

[Dapper Dog]

A woman approaches and says, “Hi… umm, hello are you waiting for someone?”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I requested a Blue Hazard from the barkeeper sometime ago, but it appears that its taking a while for it to arrive." Sylvain said as he looked up to the woman.

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal looked up to the woman, deciding to elect to remind Sylvain that Makeb was rather independent from such forces and some words would probably do little to help if they discovered her identity.

However, this was Sylvain's cause to be here and instead of interjecting she would allow him to direct his own fate as he saw fit. Even if she felt his head could get in the way of things sometimes.

[Dapper Dog]

"I have your Blue Hazard," she replies nervously. "I am... not used to any of this. Are you the specialists? I was told to expect only one, not two."

[Kristal Serasai]

"Consider me your insurance policy and pay me no mind until the moment you may require me," she said, perhaps only humoring herself.

[Dapper Dog]

That did little to give the woman any real confidence in the situation.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I will be dealing with the issue. I am the specialist. My associate has a certain set of skills which are most useful when one wanders about some of the less guarded areas of Nal Hutta." Slyvain replied with confidence.

"I was instructed to contact you about an operative who may have information vital to the Empire, but is reluctant to speak with anyone other than Darth Baras. I am Baras' apprentice and head of his intelligence network."

[Dapper Dog]

"Oh... well okay... this is a little embarrassing then. I had thought he had gone to ground, but... the situation is a bit more complicated. I wasn't sure if anyone would come if they knew the truth. Fa'athra the Hutt has him, in carbonite. Guess he was running behind on everything. So I told your folks he was gone to ground... but really he needs your help," she says honestly.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain looked to the woman with a cool expression, "Describe the situation and why it's imperative that he be saved... and do be clear. Your current revelation has already lowered my patience level to a minimum."

[Dapper Dog]

"He has vital intel and he's a person in trouble?" she says incredulously. "You folks really are ruthless."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"The 'vital intel' he has is not also some story meant to get us to come and save a man who cannot keep his own vices in check?" He asked.

"Where is he? And has the Hutt made any demands? I'm assuming his debts will need to be paid... plus a premium."

[Dapper Dog]

"Fa'athra does not realize the information he has and I was not able to debrief him before he was taken. Fa'athra has him in his palace, as a wall decoration. That's all I got, I can identify him assuming you want me to go with," she says with a bit more confidence.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "Very well. We shall go and you shall accompany us. Any further deception will not be tolerated, understood?"

He stood and prepared to depart.

[Dapper Dog]

"Of course, Sith," she says a bit exasperated.

"You got transportation, Fa'athra's palace is not exactly local and I am not walking through the swamp in heels."
