He bites back the bitter remark that springs to mind, looking around him with a growing sense of despair, there's just so many people. "Abolish slavery, get the refugees back home, resettle some of these people on real planets," if you're going to have delusions, he mused, they might as well be delusions of grandeur.

Shaisha nodded slowly, mulling it over for a moment.

"Getting refugees back home is easier said than done. And as long as the Hutts are around, there will be slavery and abuse of those unfortunate to land in their clutches." But killing all the Hutts would just open up for the next contender... "Sometimes, some things can't be changed."

She had a hard time admitting to herself that she liked these conversations with someone like Cole. He had... a very different outlook on things, without the preaching dogma of the Jedi.

He studied Shaisha, a lopsided smile ghosting around his lips, "don't give up hope just yet, deviless. We might be too old and too set in our ways, but change takes time. And that's something the galaxy doesn't seem short on."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Tch, who are you calling old, angel-hair?" she scoffed. Ok, so I am probably, waaay older than him. "And I'll probably live longer than you... well, biologically speaking anyway... Technically speaking, the chances of getting a lightsaber through my heart is much higher for me than for you."

She stopped to look up at the vertical city around them.

"I feel I should thank you for this, though. It's... strange, talking to someone outside the Empire."

He chuckled warmly, but it ended in a sigh. Cole shrugged and ran a hand through his hair, "Empire, Republic, or maybe we're just two people looking for a lost cat," though truthfully, the leads had dried up some time ago, and they'd just been walking, as if this were a garden world, not some of the most dangerous back alleys in Hutt space.

"Yeah... strange to think we're out here looking for a kitten," she burst into a laugh. "Not even a Nexu or a Vine Cat, but just a... kitten..."

Not that she didn't look very much at home in such dangerous places, as if she was a predator that easily adapted to new hunting grounds. "We should probably continue the search in the morning? It's a big city to lose a pet in..."

They made for a disparate pair, Cole looking as out of place as a freshly buffed protocol droid. "Mmm, I agree. Unless we trip over it, I don't think we're going to get any closer today. Thanks for your help, and the talk."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Thank you too," she nodded.

"By the way... before we part ways: there's a pair of freelancers looking for some help on a rescue mission to Kintan. Durasay Mixo and Craw Toboga if you know them. Figured I'd touch base with you if perhaps it was something you would be interested in... since you seem like the type to try and help out people in need."

[Cole Ormont]

"I've played Huttball with Craw, he seems a good sort." Spreading his hands, "assuming this isn't the bust in, blasters akimbo kind of rescue mission, sure, I might be able to help."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"It seemed like a rather big affair that needed both the brains and the brawns, and I know you got brains, angel-hair," she said in a good-natured tease. "You should touch base with them though."

[Cole Ormont]

"I shall drop your name when I do, deviless," he smiles.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She chuckled and gave him a nod.

"Shall I see you safely out of the neighbourhood? You'll have to forgive me for not getting to close your compound... I'd rather not tempt death too much today. At least not yet."

[Cole Ormont]

"How could I decline? Shall we?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"M'lady," she says as she offers her armor to Cole, as if she would escort him to a dance.

Chuckling warmly, Cole gave an awkward, but reasonably impression of a curtsy, and took the offered arm.
