Question 2: The Athletics skill can be used to gain an extra manoeuvre by spending 2 Advantage. When would one makes such a roll? As part of another manoeuvre?

Could I say my PC charges at his opponent, takes a massive leap and brings down a crushing blow. Mechanics wise it would be a move manoeuvre & roll Athletics, spend the 2 Advantage to gain a second manoeuvre of aim and then Action Attack.

Or a second scenario of: run towards my opponent, draw my lightsaber and then strike?

To keep it easy, they start at 50.

For the Athletics usually using a skill is an Action but in this case, so if you did generate 2 advantage you could take another Move or movement based Maneuver for free instead of spending two strain. So no attack unless you can use Athletics as a maneuver which is rare.

Ah okay, so generally it would be pointless as you can just swap an Action into a maneuver. But lets say there is a balcony with an enemy on. Could one move to the balcony, costing a maneuver, climb and summit the balcony as an Action (Athletics Test) and then use 2 Advantage from the test to draw a weapon or even move if he was a few meters away from the edge?

I assume this means if price starts at 100 it drops to 80 (decrease to 80%)
Not if it starts at 100 it drops to 20 (decrease by 80%)

Correct should be 80.

I am bad at math terms.

That would be totally acceptable.

Okay, guess I'll have to look up the good doctor once I get to Nar Shaddaa to get a competitive pricing.

If your primary weapon deals stun damage, do you still increase the difficulty of a bounty for going nonlethal? (Namely, my lightsaber once I install a damping emitter to go nonlethal.)

Question about damage for weapons. Is damage just calculated from base weapon + mods? Or do we add Brawn or something for weapons like lightsabers? Trying to figure out how Thy got that damage in the example.

Also, since bank transfers and email money transfers are a thing in real life. May we transfer credits to other PCs/NPCs via CommLink/Holo-Net?

Probably not, we shall see.

Lightsabers do not add Brawn, they have a set damage. Thy has modded her Lightsaber because she has been a Jedi for about 40 years now.

It's complicated.

Melee weapons normally add Brawn to their damage, Lightsabers do not.

You can do online transfers sure.

Since some new force users have shown interest in fluctuating their morality, would it be possible for them to trade 500 of their starting credits for a morality change instead of the credits to give them an equivalent option that the characters who started last game had?

I'm curious, does buying a slave cause conflict if you plan to (sorta) free them?

If you buy a slave and immediately release them because that was your plan then I probably won;t hit you with Conflict, you buy a slave and benefit from their enslaved nature even briefly and then free them, yeah that's conflict.

So say you buy a slave and then go, I'll free you after you serve me a sandwich that's a conflict if you buy them and free them, you're good.

Well, it's more Ashla's viewpoints and general selfish reasoning that might give it conflict. The act itself I don't think would be a problem.

Question and explanation is here.

Can we actually build/create our own clothes/armour? Or just modify them? What skill check would that require?

You can try to build something, probably going to be Mechanics and a bunch of time slots.

Oh and materials and probably a machine shop. That's all the details I got.

Is there a machine shop around? Guess we can just make it up. Same goes for ship customization? Or can we just work on that in the spaceport?

The spaceport is the best place for that kind of work, you can probably rent some space if you need a workshop.

For the final roll in One Misstep Leads to Another, would Duelist's Training add a boost die to a lightsaber roll if we choose that route? It works when engaged with a single enemy.

Request approval on some from outside of core, as possible future purchases, with usual shopping-related caveats.

1) Kimber stone. Keeping the Peace, page 55. It's a lightsaber stone that does stun damage and doesn't have breach/sunder.

2) Overcharged power cell. Endless Vigil, Page 51. Can spend an advantage from combat checks for +1 damage (each? not sure if it can be proc'd multiple times or just once), GM can spend two threat to reduce damage by 1 (again, not sure if each).

Regarding the overcharged power cells, if approved, are they fair game on lightsabers, and can you use them to spend multiple advantages for a larger damage increase?

3) Custom Grip. Special Modifications, page 54. Remove a black when using the weapon, add 2 black if you're not the person the grip is customized for.

Again, if approved, is this valid for lightsabers?

I have already approved the custom Grip so yes the other stuff is fine though I doubt you will just find a Kimber Stone to purchase.
