[D6 MM] Girl Talk

[Yslane Tssilla]

"You do realize that I have been in the Temple my whole life." Now it was Yslane's turn to pout, "You can't expect me to stride out the confident diva twisting people around her finger."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Not with that attitude missy! The pouting is a good start." She wagged her finger at him. "Besides... not everyone needs to be a diva. You an be confident without being an arrogant bitch." She let out a cough. "As it has been misattributed to me in the past."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Well you did just dress as a dominatrix...." Yslane pointed out, "....Master Shan was not amused. She was very, very not amused."

"And I know, really its less confidence and more my natural....caution. Master Yulani is helping with that."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Dominatrix? Really? It was an accurate Holowood production!" Alysele was blushing as she said it. "She was not. I wasn't amused either when I asked for help with tracking down a killer, and her response was "It is your destiny Jedi Cortess. We shall not interfere."' She took on a mocking tone as she said it.

She smirked. "Master Yulani does seem like someone who thinks caution is optimal and all will work out. How is it coming along with her?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Well enough...." Yslane shrugged, "Umm....what short of shows have you been watching Alys?"

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly looked away, blushing. "Erm... so when are you taking your trials?" Subtle save!

[Yslane Tssilla]

"A while still, Master Yulani wants to get to know me better." Yslane sighs, "Honestly I think the Council is testing her as much as they are me....I'm her first Padawan."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Ah.... you're a different kind of teacher's pet now. The experimental one." She smirked. "How do you like her?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"She's different....more like an older, crazy, sister then a teacher." Yslane smiled, "I think I am the calm, cautious one of our little pair. I should count myself lucky the Council didn't decide to make me your first Padawan." She waggled a finger teasingly.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Wait, if she is the older crazier sister, what does that make me? The adopted wild child? The fashionable girlfriend? Your evil twin sister?" The possibilities were endless!!!!

"Padawan? Me? Nonononononono... I don't think the Council is that cruel. Maaaybe."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"A friend, best even." She answers Alys's question with a bemused grin.

"Well if you remain in the Order.....someday you might have to train one." Yslane took a sip of her drink, "'It worked on Yulani, lets give Knight Cortess a Padawan....perhaps it will help teach her patience and wisdom.'"

[Alysele Cortess]

"You assume you will..." Aly opened her palm, and started raising fingers one by one. "Won't die. Won't become like Thy. Won't retire before your time is up. Won't turn into a Wookie because the Force works in mysterious ways."

She smiled.

"I still have time. Just a little." She indicated the amount with her fingers. "You1ll fly through the Trials. I know. I did it. You can do it better." She smiled. "I know it. You're my best friend too."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I'm sure," She nodded in turn, then smirked, "Become like Thy? Do you think the Council can handle having two Thys?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"It might lead to a schism. Or an implosion. Or an explosion." She smirked. "How did it feel outimg yourself like that?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"The Sith Torsin already knew... I couldn't hide my connection to the Force." She blanches. "So it was coming regardless."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Oh? How did he know? You met with him?" She was curious now.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I spoke to him during the luncheon with the Senators." She sighed, "Apparently I made something of a mark and he asked to meet privately. I can't be sure but I think he might be legitimately interested in ensuring these peace talks succeed. Regardless at the meal he revealed he could feel my connection. I just lack the control to hide myself."

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele smiled ruefully. "See? Everyone sees your special." She let out a small laugh. "That's interesting, but... what can he do? Do we know? Is it worth pursuing?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I'm looking into it," Yslane shrugs, "But having someone on the other side that seems willing to give these talks a chance is better then nothing."

[Alysele Cortess]

"You're resourceful, you'll find out." She smiled. "Speaking of which... how do you feel about revealing your secret? It all being public?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"It happened," She shrugged, "I lose some surprise but gain the usual benefits of being a known Jedi."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Okay, but how do you feel about it? You were always withdrawn, but you're not a droid." She reached out, and pinched her cheek. "Nope. Not a droid."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"A bit upset that it happened so openly," Yslane crossed her arms and frowned at the pinch, "But it is in part my own failure and I learn from it for the next time. I need to focus on my training and learn to conceal my presence better. It may sound weird but its the same feeling of when I would fail something at the Temple. Disappointment and drive to do better next time."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Fall, pick yourself up, and jump higher next time." An annoying old mantra from the temple. "Good. You're a stubborn one, don't lose that." Her voice softened. "Everything's changing nowadays... I'd prefer you wouldn't."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Not all change is bad Alys," Yslane's smile returned, "And that is not always obvious."

"But regardless of whether it is good or bad....change is unstoppable, it is simply a part of life." Her hand reached out pat her friend's again, "There is nothing to be gloom about Alys."
