[D6 LM] A Long Time Coming

"We have had some interesting discussions. I don't think it would ever be anything serious. A fling if you would even call it that. After all, having someone to warm your bed is always nice, though we haven't gotten to that point yet."

"I also have had a few dates with another man, if it interests you. He is a member of the Tortoise, a neutral freighter and mercenary crew. Durasay is his name. Oh, and then there was a girl, a singer here named Arsele..."

She chuckles and places a hand on the Captain's shoulder.

"In short, I am having fun. And if I can have fun while learning a bit more about our enemy, why not?"

"I suppose so." Niall said, agreeably bland. "I'm glad that your-" Whoops, almost said 'affairs', "-that is, that things are going well for you on a personal level."

"Just make sure to... wait." Niall frowned. His shoulder tensed under Adrianaa's hand. "Arsele, you said. Would this be Arsele Girard, by any chance? Blonde, about this tall?" He lifted a hand, palm down, to demonstrate.

"That would be her. She came to my room the other night for something. Ended up having a discussion about dancing. Later I went and performed at a club she works at using some of the lessons she taught me."

Adrianaa cocks her head to the side curiously.

"You know her?"

Niall's mouth opened, then shut. There was rather a lot to unpack in those few sentences.

He decided to focus on the part he understood. "Yes, in fact. I mentioned her earlier, the Alderaanian noble who came to live here. She's a childhood friend of mine." He shook his head, smiling. "Small galaxy, I suppose."

Adrianaa smiles.

"She's quite the woman. Have you spoken with her since you have been here?"

[Niall Organa]

"I have, yes." Niall nodded, still shaking his head, bemused. "Several times. We played Huttball together, even. She helped me with a personal matter I was looking into."

Niall nodded again. "And yes, she is quite remarkable. We spent a lot of time together in our youth. But then we went our separate ways, and we didn't manage to stay in touch." He shrugged. "It's been nice seeing her again. She was always a positive influence in my life, even if my parents wouldn't have agreed on that point."

"I am glad. You should keep in contact with her. She's the type of person we all need in our lives."
