Master Mersl smiled faintly at her. "Criticism is not inherently bad. It is there to help guide you, Alysele. I face criticism myself."

As for the other matter, she simply nodded. "Those are all viable paths of the Jedi. To be lost among choices is not uncommon."

[Alysele Cortess]

Wow. Vague yet unhelpful. Consistency is a virtue I guess.

"And how would you suggest I find my path, Master? How did you find yours?"

[Nekoinu]

"I would state 'meditation' but it was not quite that. I spent time in solace where I could be alone with my feelings and know what I truly wanted." She lifted a few manuscripts and levitated them by Alysele. "I have dedicated my life to scholarly pursuits. I then offer my knowledge to both those inside and outside of the Jedi Order."

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele accepted the floating manuscripts, hopefully neither of them hitting her on the nose. "I do not think that is my area... study was always Yslane's stronger suit than mine." She looked them over. "What are these about?"

[Nekoinu]

"Yslane is a fine pupil. Sometimes I wonder if I should have switched padawans with Thy," the Miraluka mused. "These are historical accounts of ancient Jedi."

[Alysele Cortess]

"I like Zuura and she is awesome in many ways, but her trained by Thy scares me, to be perfectly honest. Besides, you and Yslane would just leave to you two bookworms sitting around, drinking tea or something." She smiled. It was more in jest than in reality.

"How ancient?"

[Nekoinu]

"I am glad you enjoy her company. She can be difficult when she does not get what she wants."

Master Mersl smiled. "I have readings that date to the original Jedi."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Still breaking her in, I notice." She smiled mischievously. "Oh? Are there records from our side of the original schism with the Sith?"

[Nekoinu]

"I am still training her to regulate herself," Lyshea rephrased.

The Miraluka nodded and looked around the room. "Ah." She lifted another archive up and hovered it over to Alysele. "You may borrow it."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Thank you. I've been interested lately in... well. What started this. All of this." She caught the book.

[Nekoinu]

"Then you shall learn," the woman said with a smile. "How do you feel now?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"Calmer." She offered at first. "I still don't know what I am going to do. But I feel I have more opportunities."

[Nekoinu]

"Would you like to hear my suggestion, Alysele?" she inquired with a faint smile.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Sure?" She asked uncertainly. Drug dealer?

[Nekoinu]

"I believe you would make an excellent diplomat. Your natural charm allows you to garner favor easily."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Perhaps. Recruiting allies is important to our current efforts." She paused in thought. "It is an interesting option next to dueling."

[Nekoinu]

"Creating and maintaining treaties with our former enemies is also important," Lyshea added, "And your skills as a duelist will help protect you if matters go awry." A warm smile was on her lips. "I believe diplomacy will be your best fit. It is closest to your origins as a noblewoman, after all. Perhaps it will be a form of nostalgia."
