Warriors [Day 6, Early Evening]

[Satele Shan]

"You are remarkably well informed even for a Sith," she says calmly. "I see now, you are that Shaisha, I have seen a few reports on you... and your supposed lineage."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"My supposed lineage?" the Sith raises an eyebrow as she regards the Jedi carefully. "I guess I should be honored that the Republic has reports on a rather new apprentice."

[Satele Shan]

"You can blame your father," she says in response.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Ah," some understanding flashses in her eyes. "There's a lot one can blame him for, I suppose."

"Though it is the Force that has shown me most of what I know... my father is not the most forthcoming person to get information from."

[Satele Shan]

"Well parents are often difficult to deal with in the best of times," she says with a nod.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

The comment surprises her. "I thought the Jedi did not leave for much interaction with their parents..."

Leaving that particular sidetrack aside; "Nevertheless, the Emperor must be stopped. He will not rest until he has devoured the Galaxy. Your focus should be to stop him, rather than fighting this war."

[Satele Shan]

"He has an Empire defending him, it will not be easy to simply defeat him," she says calmly.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"And the Empire will continue to fight, with or without Him. It will be difficult, but with time and planning, one can find the time and place to strike."

While she is not as calm as the Jedi, she keeps her cool considering the topic.

[Satele Shan]

"You think the Sith would challenge him, for all their deception the loyalty to the Emperor seems to be the one unifying force among the Sith. Is there anyone strong enough to challenge him?" she asks.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha carefully considers her answer.

"It's difficult to say... the most powerful Sith are on the Dark Council, or serve the Emperor directly. I know that twice before the Council has been purged for colluding against the Emperor. Moving against the Emperor is a dangerous undertaking in the Empire. Even for someone like me who is just an apprentice. "

[Satele Shan]

She raises a hand and says, "I understand the difficult position this puts you in."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She offers a weak smile.

"Believe me, that has been on my mind since I spoke with Captain Organa. I don't want to see my home, family, or people destroyed, just as I imagine it must be the same for you."

[Satele Shan]

"What do you propose, an alliance behind the scenes?" she asks.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha nods. "I believe such could be a start, yes... and if the peace talks go well, it could make it easier, though trust is probably something that will come fully in time."

[Satele Shan]

"If channels of communication remain open then we have a pathway for mutual understanding," she says calmly.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"It seems we are of similar minds, despite our very different backgrounds and positions, Master Jedi," Shaisha offers with a surprisingly friendly smile. As friendly as even a Sith like her could look.

"... Thank you. For believing in my words."

OOC: Bracing for more Conflict.

[Satele Shan]

"An open mind is the first step to honest communication," she replies. "I will relay your concerns to the Jedi Council, and if you wish to reach me then I will listen."

She offers her contact information and adds, "This threat as you say is larger than the petty conflicts of the war."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha accepts the contact info with an appriciative nod. "It's... interesting, to see that the Jedi are more than just the myth and legend the Empire constructed about them. But I imagine there are many misconceptions about the Sith as well in the Republic."

[Satele Shan]

"Individuals rarely live up to the reputation of their respective groups," she offers.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Something like that."

She figured she probably wasn't what a lot of people expected when they heard she was the child of the Wrath. Most people wouldn't know how much she took after her mother instead of her father.

"I will be in touch, Master Shan, but for now, it's probably best not to linger too long... it might arouse suspicion." She smiles politely and rises from her seat in the booth, making sure that the hood of her robes conceal most of her from any potential onlookers. "May the Force make you strong."

Satele nods and says, "May the Force be with you."
