Again she was quiet, just drinking instead of returning with another comment intended to... do whatever it was Layne usually intended with her comments.

Sylvain finished off his drink while glancing at Layne, "Something on your mind? Or is this a 'get out of my face' type of moment?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"Nah," she said. "Just. Life."

There was a pause and then her face lit up a little.

"Oh, I have a totally awesome droid now. It has a built-in lightsaber."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "Sounds useful. Does he also entertain discussions on this issue of 'life' you are concerned with?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"Why do you assume it's a he?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, " 'She' then?"

[Layne Hoshin]

She shrugged. "Whatever, it's a droid. Do you have to anthromopr... anthro... you know what?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I suppose you don't have to. Have a name or call number?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"He's still being restored," she said; calling it a he and no doubt inspiring the feeling to pull one's hair out.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded with a smile on his lips, "I take it that it wasn't easy to get your hands on him?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"A pack of battledroids with lightsabers? Oh it was easy. Those things are like, everywhere. You can pick 'em up with the jawas for 15 credits."

She was obviously being sarcastic.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He smiled, "A pack of them now? Sounds like there's quite the story to this."

[Layne Hoshin]

"You should come with me sometime. Then you'd have stories to tell too. Maybe learn how to fight in the process."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "I'm considering it. Baras usually has me pent up doing other things... I'm planning on assisting out with a mission tomorrow on Makeb though... maybe get some more experience."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Makeb's overrated," she said.

Even though she'd only seen so little of it.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Big bounty out there right now." He smiled. "I'll buy you something nice from out there if we're successful."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Big bounty huh? Last bounty I went on didn't go so well. Wouldn't mind some more spending money though."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I can see if there's room for you." He offered.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Sounds fun. Unless it'll take like 12 hours to get there and back."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Just then Sylvain's holocommunicator buzzed.

Surgery is complete Master Torsin.

Sylvain looked at the message and then stood up, wincing. "It appears I need to go now Layne... I'll let you know if there's room."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Fine," she said. A little confused but not bothering to argue about his sudden departure.
