Casna perked her brow at the little nudge and took another sip from her drink. She then looked down at its diminished contents and then nodded. "Sure, why not? And what do you mean by 'indirect' in regards to murder?"

[Luth Khalan]

Asra calls for another drink for Casna as she worked on hers. "I was making a joke about command positions."

[Nekoinu]

"Oh. Well you know just how to make me feel like an idiot." Casna let out a sigh and leaned back. "Truth be told, I'm not sure what I'll do after my tour of duty. Command isn't really for me and I'm not as spry as I used to be."

[Luth Khalan]

"No, don't feel like that... You know I'm awkward, you shouldn't feel like an idiot for not getting weird things I say," she reassures. "Someone told me once that the way we live isn't really anything close to natural to us. All anyone can do is just... find something they like doing, and go with it, at least for a while. So being a little at loose ends is basically the human condition. And I think you'll be great at anything you try afterward."

[Nekoinu]

"Ah Asra, don't talk like that. Sure, you can be a little awkward, but it was relevant to what we were talking about. Ordering people to kill other people is totally indirect murder." Casna took her new drink and took a sip. "You really have that much faith in me? You're making me feel embarrassed. I might be good at this sniper business but that's the extent of my talents."

[Luth Khalan]

She chuckles a little at the first. "I'm pretty awkward... I mean, damn, I can barely find the right level of formality," she says with a shake of her head. "But no, you have a ton of talents. I mean, let's break down just the sniper thing. You have to be perceptive. And steady. And athletic. And careful. Detail-oriented. Plus, you're great at emotional support, and you're socially functional, and you're beautiful. You can do a ton with all that!"

[Nekoinu]

"That means you have the same talents," Casna said with a smirk. "Ah, shucks, you're going to make me blush. You really should have seen me when I was just getting started, about your age. Then I was hot!"

[Luth Khalan]

"You're still plenty hot, I assure you," Asra replies with a grin. "I don't have the last ones!"

[Nekoinu]

"Ah, well, good to know I still have some looks to me." She smirked and took another sip. "You can function in social settings when you keep your head cool. And you've helped me through things too. And finally, beautiful as well!"

[Luth Khalan]

She smirks and gestures with her mostly empty glass of alcohol at Casna. "Keep talking like that and I'll practice picking up girls on you."

[Nekoinu]

"Oh shucks, you'd practice on me and not someone else? If anything, I'd think you'd be more nervous with me."

[Luth Khalan]

"Well, I do get more nervous the more attractive the woman in question is, so you're probably right," she says, looking over at Casna with a grin. "Though I also am pretty comfortable with you by this point."

[Nekoinu]

Casna giggled. "Oh my. Aren't you supposed to be shy with the flirtation?" She continued to laugh and then sipped from her cup. "I was more-so referring to the part where we're partners in the military and I'm engaged," she teased.

[Luth Khalan]

"I think awkward morning after are part and parcel to what we're talking about," she said after a few seconds of consideration. "And I am, I am very shy about flirtation. I'm bad at it. Why, is it working?"

[Nekoinu]

"'Oh I'm so bad at flirting,'" the spotter teased. She glanced to her glass and then back to Asra. "You're not usually like this. What's gotten into you?"

[Luth Khalan]

"Well, they say alcohol lowers inhibitions. Maybe I wanted to flirt with you the whole time," she points out, shaking the empty glass a little.

[Nekoinu]

Casna raised her eyebrow. "Oh please, Asra, we've gotten drunk together before, haven't we? Besides, I think I would have noticed before."

[Luth Khalan]

"Not THAT often," she notes. "I don't know. Atmosphere, alcohol, super hot girl... part of it's probably stress relief."

[Nekoinu]

"'Super hot girl?' Oh please, at least refer to me as a lady, Asra." The spotter looked to their empty glasses and then back to her partner. "You're probably right on the alcohol part."

[Luth Khalan]

"A lady, huh? Is this going to take on some sort of power dynamic thing?" She says with a laugh.

[Nekoinu]

"What sorta weird stuff goes through your head? Gosh, I knew I should have kept an eye on what you were up to at our bunk!"

[Luth Khalan]

"Pfft, yeah. Pull of my mattress and it's nothing but... I don't know, whips and chains and other weird accouterments. Somehow. I'm very good at packing into tight spaces, apparently. Silently." She laughs.

[Nekoinu]

Casna began to laugh out loud. "Okay, now that's the Asra I know and adore! Absolutely awkward!" She stuck out her tongue and then continued to laugh.

Asra laughs with her. "You know, when our tours are wrapped up, I'm gonna miss you being around."

[Nekoinu]

"Ah shucks, Asra. We can always keep in touch, you know. I won't be moving around much, I think."
