Day 7 MM: THE LIGHT SIDE HAS COOKIES!

Yesterday was almost total shit...but today...today...the togruta tried to sniff the odor of the cookies Master Thun promised her

This will be awesome!

[Dapper Dog]

Master Thun was watering her plants and busying herself with tending the garden at the moment. She smiles and says, "Baesal, good morning. I hear you won a raffle or something?"

[Baesal Zyn]

She nodded with enthusiasm ''Good morning master Thun! I indeed won a raffle for an authentic Vera Hawke costume last night''

Her eyes sparkled ''If I manage to sell it to a collector I might have enough credits to buy my Merr-S0NN tool box.''

[Dapper Dog]

"I have no idea what that is," she says with a chuckle. "But you seem very excited about it."

[Baesal Zyn]

She nods ''Yes, its like a backpack with mechanical arms that aid in the crafting process...it can save me hours of work!''

She then looks around ''So hum...I have two questions if that is okay with you...First: are the cookies ready? Second: how do we deal with the monster in the lake?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Oh yes the cookies are ready and... monster in the lake?" she says with some curiosity. She frowns and adds, "Oh... the Guardian, that's what I call it. Whatever is there... it has remained in that lake. Maybe it can be reasoned with."

[Baesal Zyn]

''It is intelligent?'' she asks dumfounded...but not enough to stop making grabby motions with her hands

[Dapper Dog]

Master Thun starts walking to the kitchen area of the enclave and says, "What because it is a monstrous creature it can't be intelligent?"

[Baesal Zyn]

She swiftly followed her to the kitchens ''Honestly...after the Acklay I was prepared for the worst...and it is kinda swimming in waters contaminated by the Dark side''

[Dapper Dog]

"I did not say it would be a pleasant intelligence," she says pulling a warm plate of cookies for the togruta.

"It has bathed in such power... for ages, since the lake formed maybe."

[Baesal Zyn]

For a short moment, the togruta's conception of the universe was to be quantified and qualified with the master's cookies as the only mesure.

She also hoped she would not drool

''Rahhhhhhh, euh, yes...I suppose so. What would it want?''

[Dapper Dog]

"I have no idea, I have never thought to ask," she counters tasting a cookie. "I was never quite that adventurous."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal slowly reaches for the pan while grinning

''Are you sure about that Master Thun? I imagine you, in your prime, swinging on creepers for the daring rescue of a handsome shirtless republic pilot''

[Dapper Dog]

"I had my moments for sure," she says laughing. "Shirtless or otherwise, but I never really explored Nal Hutta till later in life. My younger days were everywhere but here. When you're young... you just want to get away from home, or maybe that was just me. I wanted to be everywhere else but here."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Sooooooo...'' she began with an impish smile munching the DARN DELICIOUS COOKIES ''...you won't deny the shirtless pilot then''

[Dapper Dog]

"Everyone has their vices," she says with a laugh.

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal's eyes got wide with interest

''Oh! Oooooh! You have to tell that story now!''

[Dapper Dog]

"No I really don't, but I will make you a deal you survive this encounter with the Guardian and I will tell you the story of the shirtless handsome pilot," she says with a shale of her head.

[Baesal Zyn]

A chuckle followed that ''Awww. well...that is certainly extra motivation''

She smiled wide ''And thank you for the cookies but the way, they are delicious''

[Dapper Dog]

"You are always welcome to more, Baesal," she replies.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Weee'' she tapped her hand together

''One other question: do you know of any force techniques to manipulate matter?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Manipulate how?" she asks.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Like tools of Force'' she illustrated by havinf strands of lighting pass between her hands ''I use that in lieu of tools to craft...I wondered is there was further methods to alter matter via the Force''

[Dapper Dog]

"There are many ways to focus the Force, I assume you want to interact with machinery?" she asks.

She nods

''Yes, yes indeed. I will still improve my actual skills but learning how the force can change material matter will prove to be very valuable.''
