[D7 ME] Date for the Dance

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Taking his arm, Shaisha looks very much like a suitable eye candy for a Sith lord: deadly and seductive.

"I can see why Vowrawn has his own place on this moon... I've not seen any Imperial world like this that is so full of vice and temptations."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Any world you are on has plenty of temptation for me. More is always welcome, but I definitely enjoy our time together a great deal," he says, arriving at the bar. He orders a couple of drinks popular in Sith space before sitting down. He takes one of Shaisha's hands and starts tracing lines on her arm while waiting.

"Then you should visit Ziost more often."

She quietly enjoy his touch as the wait for the drinks.

"... any idea how long your father will be here? It's rather sudden that he's coming all the way out here, no?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"It is, and as such I have no idea what his aims are. I'm sure he'll let me know though." The bartender placed the drinks on the bar for them, and the credits were transferred.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Something you want me around for?" She offers as they pick up their drinks.

"I remember you said that the conflict between the two of you was inevitable."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Well, not necessarily inevitable. Just extremely likely. And probably in time. But when I face him I'll do it alone. He's my father and if I'm going to end up fighting him, I'll be the one to cut him down," he replies. "He may be around the compound so you might run into him. Just try not to actually, literally run into him. He's gotten violent over less."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I'll try not to," she chuckles, "even if I'm not at the compound very often, I might just see if our paths cross. Hearing about him from you, well I admit I am a little curious."

She raises her glass with a wry smile. "To fathers?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"To fathers," he says with a smile before taking a drink. "Do you have any idea where you'll be heading after the peace talks? Any hints on your next assignement from Vowrawn?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Not yet, no," she takes a sip from the drink.

"Probably back to Ziost for debriefing of everything that's happened here. Though I should probably give him a call for status update soon... even if the update is that we have no idea if Baras is still alive or actually dead. Annoying prick is even more problematic when dead. Which is why I firmly believe he's still alive."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Well, he wouldn't be the first person to fake his death. Do we know anyone that can seek through the force?" he asks curiously.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She gives a small shrug.

"Normally a master or an apprentice could, given the bond is strong enough, but he strikes me as the sort of man who would never allow such bonds to take place. And then there are ways of concealing oneself, even from the Force."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"There are. Well, I've never met the man so I don't know what to expect from him. I only know his reputation. But if you need assistance there I'm willing to help." He take another sip of his drink and his eyes begin to wander over her.

"I don't think I can say enough times how beautiful you look tonight."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Just keeping an eye on things here while I'm gone to Makeb goes a long way," she sighs, but accepts the compliment with a smile. "Thank you. And you look rather dashing tonight too... but you almost always do."

"I just hope there won't be anymore explosions while my back is turned."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'll do what I can. If things get bad during the talks I'll just kill everyone causing problems," he says with a chuckle. "That should solve any issues." He finishes off his drink and sets the glass down, sliding it away. He was fine for now.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"That does sound like a very tempting solution," she chuckles softly.

"Just... it's weird that we seem to be taking these talks more seriously than the Republic. Last night, a group of them were responsible or at least involved in an attack on my people. Eight operatives dead, one in critical condition, some survivors."

She frowns before finishing her drink now. "Of the ones involved, security footage showed me some I recognized; Captain Niall Organa and that defector Baesal. "

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Baesal's alive?" he says, surprised. Apparently they had missed each other the whole time and nobody had mentioned to him that she was alive or here. His eyes narrow. "And a defector. And attacking your people." His eye twitches and one of his knees start to bob.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"She joined the Jedi, it seems. I saw her for the first time here during some luncheon the Jedi arranged to talk about the Force."

She eyes Zeno with some concern. "Didn't the twi'lek tell you?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"No, but I'm not surprised. They were much closer than I was with either of them," he says. "And I don't blame Moyr for the sins of the Togruta. But it complicates things." He looks at his empty glass with a distant gaze. "One less ally, one more enemy."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha nods, and her hand grasps his to pull him closer to her.

"Sorry... I thought you knew."

[Zeno Deathwright]

When he looks to her, and away from his glass, his eyes are practically smoldering. It wasn't a huge change, but it seemed like the corruption around his eyes was expanding ever so slightly. Not something anyone would notice without actually seeing it. He took a deep breath as he looked around at all the people.

Had Baesal been the one to tell him right here and now, he'd likely have lost it. But since it was Shaisha with him, he maintains his composure. He shakes his head. "I didn't. Last I heard of her she went missing during the battle on Yavin and I assumed she had died. I never brought it up with Moyr because I didn't want to talk about something that might upset her needlessly."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

The change was something she noticed, and it was something she had always wondered about... why the dark side's touch always manifested so dramatically in those who weren't true purebloods.

Her hand squeezes his reasuringly, reminding him that she would be there.

"Yavin IV was quite the change for all of us it seems. Of the ones I've met afterwards, everyone walked away changed from that place."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I don't think it was only Yavin. I think it was our growing understanding of the dark from all of our training. It just came to a head there," he says. "But thank you for telling me. For now... I'll not do anything. And I should probably continue not seeing her. It's best for the talks I think."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

It was definetely Yavin IV for me...

"Probably for the best," she agrees and leans forward to kiss his lips softly.

"Maybe I should throw a big party over at my place when these stupid negotiations are done."

[Zeno Deathwright]

He returns the kiss. "I think that's a great idea. What's the fun of a party pad if you don't throw a party?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Exactly," her laugh is soft as she brushes her nose against his, letting their foreheads rest against eachother.

"Almost feels like Vowrawn would be disappointed if I didn't have at least one party there, considering he told me to 'have fun' while here."
