Shaisha's mood was steadily growing more agitated as she looked through the databases for a match resembling the gemstone she had found earlier that day, and was turning up empty-handed.

She snarled and kicked one of the terminals in anger. "Poodoo..."

Sylvain walked past the door in the makeshift Imperial database library and saw red hair and red skin. He chuckled once as he saw her lash out in frustration and approached.

"I'm not sure kicking it makes it any more efficient there Shaisha."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Well, it should... would make me feel better," she scowled at the terminal, as if trying to will it to give her the answers she wanted.

Not that the lack of answer right now was the sole reason why she was angry.

"... How is Kris?" she asked, still not looking at Sylvain.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Kris is tough..." He replied.

"She's moving past it."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

A thoughtful expression formed on her face as she nodded. "Then... what about you?" she look up at Sylvain now.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Good enough..." He replied in a perhaps uncharacteristically succinct manner.

[Dapper Dog]

Lana Beniko approaches and says, "Are you done with the terminal?"

"These search parameters are not entirely correct but given the features you are looking for this is a Dantari crystal, Lord Savas was very particular that I read up on many types of kyber crystals. Looking for one?" she asks calmly.

Sylvain nods at the newcomer and looks to Shaisha for her response.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"... Not exactly, no, I found one. Guess I slept through that particular class," the female pureblood says after a moment's pause. "Thanks. I'm done with the terminal."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nods his thanks, "Lana Beniko is it not?"

[Dapper Dog]

Lana moves up to the terminal and begins typing and says to Sylvain, "Aspirant Lana Beniko, my lord."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nods a greeting, "I've heard great things about your abilities. It's a pleasure to meet you. I am Sylvain Torsin, this is my sister Shaisha Vreysk."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Aspirant, huh? Must be nice to be here than back at the Academy," she remarks with a brief smile. At least the food here was miles, no parsecs, better than the Academy-paste.

"You're part of Darth Xevious' retinue then?"

[Dapper Dog]

“I have done nothing of note, my lord,” she says to Sylvain. To Shaisha she replies, “I spent many months on Korriban before I was attached to Darth Xevious’ entourage. He has taken it upon himself to complete my training.”

“For that I am thankful.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Members of the Dark Council do not do such things without warrant." Sylvain smiled slightly.

"I expect to see great things out of you in the future."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Where Sylvain smiles, Shaisha cautiously observes. If she were a cat, her tail would be flicking back and forth as she observed this new curiosity.

"You will do well," she adds in, more out of politeness than anything. "Sylvain... a word in private, if you don't mind."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nods and excuses himself to speak with Shaisha.

"Yes?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha steps away with Sylvain, and keeps her voice down as they retreat somewhere more private.

"There was an attack last night on Section IX... explosives. Three other places were attacked more or less at the same time too, all three suspected holdings of Baras. We got some footage of Republic agents fleeing the scene of the crime, with some familiar faces even, but with the simultaneous attacks against Baras' potential locations... Magpie might be the most likely culprit."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "It seems possible."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She regarded him with a slightly sceptical glance.

"Still nothing new on your front with Baras or Magpie?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He tilted his head, "Mother was at the location you sent me to check out last night. We spoke... but there's nothing terribly new. She's seen a vision of the destruction of the galaxy... perhaps similar to yours. It alters her view of the purpose behind life and all this around us."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

There was a brief frown. "And thanks to that, I now have eight dead operatives, and a Fixer in critical condition..." an exasperated sigh. "... How much have you told her, exactly?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Of what?" He asked.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Everything really... I don't like the thought of her knowing what the three of us have talked about this past week."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I haven't spoken with her much before last night." He replied.

"I didn't reveal that the reason I was there was related to you... I was trying to ascertain what she is trying to do, and pressed her the best I could."
