It Starts as a Trickle [Day 0, Vindicator]

[Kristal Serasai]

"My Lord, we are approaching the planet and will be dropping from hyperspace shortly," Weaver's voice came over the comm linked into Kristal's private quarters aboard her ship.

Sat at her desk, Kristal was staring at a vidscreen. For a moment it was silent but when she finally reacted she barely cast a glance to the side to answer, "Contact Darth Marr and inform him of our imminent arrival."

"Of course, My Lord," Weavers short response came back quickly and the connection between the rooms was audibly cut.

Sliding back in her seat she rose from the desk and walked through toward the comm room. Presenting herself before the large Holo-terminal with her arms crossed behind her back in a military manner. Dressed in a similar fashion she looked the perfect mix of both the Imperial Military and Sith as her lightsaber hung at her side. Brushing some errant strands of hair from in front of her face as she stood prepared for the call she was expecting.

[Dapper Dog]

An Imperial officer, a Captain answers and salutes the Sith. He says, “Greetings my lord, Darth Marr is currently indisposed but should be along shortly. How can I be of service?”

She knew the man, Captain Hundo, be st described as proper, ambitious, and loyal.

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal acknowledged the man, "Captain," and returned the salute.

"Reporting in for briefing. I will be within system within the hour," she offered simply. Resuming her formal stance.

[Dapper Dog]

“I have been authorized to begin the briefing at your leisure, my lord,” he says respectfully.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Begin, Captain," she returned coolly.

[Dapper Dog]

The Captain begins, “The Dark Lord has commanded me to relay your task. You are to track down Captain Dano Fisk, he has gone AWOl with his men and taken sensitive information that we believe he will use as a bargaining chip with the Republic to seek Asylum. We believe they have fled to Nar Shaddaa but our sources dried up.”

“Imperial authorities arrested a criminal we believe to have aided Dano Fisk, you will make contact with this prisoner and track down Fisk by any means.”

The captain adds, “Bur is the name of this criminal.”

[Kristal Serasai]

"This Bur, what do we know of him?" she asked, keeping that cool demeanor intact.

[Dapper Dog]

“Smuggler, criminal with several outstanding warrants in eight Imperial sectors. Bur is a skilled pilot, from his dossier at least. Born in the Outer Rim, we suspect, and most likely ex-military perhaps Republic. I have not met this cretin but I suspect he will be crude and insufferable, best to kill him my lord once you have what you need,” the Captain replies.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Your advice on the matter is duly noted, Captain," she offered sharply, but without verbalized judgement. "Is there anything more I need to be made aware of, Captain?"

[Dapper Dog]

“No my lord, I have nothing of value to add to that briefing,” he says with a nod.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Thank you, Captain," she offers with a firm nod.

[Dapper Dog]

“If there is nothing else my lord I shall end the communication. I will give Darth Marr your regards,” he offers respectfully.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Do so," she finishes with a nod. Beginning to turn from the console just as the connection would cut and move from the room into the rest of the ship.

"Your orders, my Lord?" Harad says calmly.

"I have already made arrangements with the prison, you can arrive at your leisure."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I would have you accompany me when we touch down," she offered, a little less coldly than she had been over the comm.

"Weaver, will secure the ship. I intend to allow not a moment to waste."

[Dapper Dog]

“Your will my Lord,” Harad says respectfully.

“If I may speak plainly for a moment, by your leave, I have some suggestions for our stay on Nar Shaddaa.”

[Kristal Serasai]

"Speak freely," she said, making a show of offering him her full attention.

[Dapper Dog]

“When we arrive on Nar Shaddaa I have an old safehouse we used back in my Black Ops days in Shadow Town, I can get that up and running as an offsite command post for you my lord. I have checked in and the site is intact and with a little work, we could be operational in perhaps four hours of touching down,” he replies.

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal stood and considered that for a moment, weighing her options and coming to a decision.

"Let us have that done Captain. You will have to brief me on it's capabilities, but it should prove useful. In any matter, I would still have you accompany me to the Prison," she said, leaving him to put the connection there that she valued his advice and insight.

[Dapper Dog]

“I will see it done, by your leave, my lord,” he says waiting to be dismissed.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Thank you, Captain. As you were," she dismissed with a nod.

[Dapper Dog]

Harad nods and retires to his room to get to work and probably speak with his family as that seems to be his usual off-time activity.

Weaver comes over the comm., “My lord, we have a priority message from… I cannot see the source, it’s an older code but it checks out.”

[Kristal Serasai]

Watching as Harad walked off she turned her attention to above. It didn't really help to look up, but the intercom always sounded like it was coming from above and her conversational instincts had her looking toward the voice. Oftentimes she stopped herself from doing something so silly and unnecessary but others.

"Patch it through to my private terminal," she said, turning on a heel toward her room.

[Dapper Dog]

"As you wish my lord," she replies over the comm.

[Cipher-3]

She is greeted by a man's face it looks like he is piloting a vehicle maybe a speeder. He is wearing mirrored shades but the face is recognizable. He smiles and says, "Greetings my lord, I took the liberty of reaching out to you. I saw your name on the delegation list and I was absolutely thrilled."

"Of course if you are here to kill me, my thrill may be blunted. Hopefully we have put that messy business behind us. Nar Shaddaa is a wonderful place, if not for all the corruption, crime, and Hutts."
