"I guess it's one of the few blessings I have of my parents. I think they genuinly cared for eachother, but marriage just wasn't something either of them wanted... they got along pretty well whenever I saw them together. And trying to control my mother would've been a lesson in futility," she chuckled with some admiration of the woman she still idolized.

She smirked. "Actually... well, shit kind of happened when I was young. When mother died."

"Long story short, I've spent more of my life being raised by a noble family on Dromund Kaas, than I did on Ziost with my own blood. And my father never really took much part in the rearing."

Cole finished his drink, wondering what that might be like as he chewed on the cherry garnish. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "I think that's enough day drinking for the moment. My patients don't tend to mind whiskey on my breath, so long as I'm still sharp enough to tend to them."
