"Well I think it will be a dance." Yslane looks away, "In a dress and heels. Typical dance stuff I think."

She chuckles, "I mean aren't you the expert here..."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Oh, I see. A typical dance, in a dress and heels." She almost burst out laughing. "You are not making this easy then. You have a dress and shoes, I think?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Well yeah...the gentleman I will be dancing with bought them for me," She nodded her cheeks coloring just a shade redder, "I thought I told you all this last time Alys...."

[Alysele Cortess]

"I know, I know. Just making sure it's not a different gallant gentleman." Her smile became warmer. "Of course I'll help. Are you looking forward to it?

[Yslane Tssilla]

"...I suppose yes..." Yslane kept her eyes on the rest of the Casino, "I mean the last time we danced was pretty fun."

[Alysele Cortess]

"That's good. You deserve to live a little " She smiled. "How is being a padawan with Thy?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Thank you Alys," Yslane looked back to her friend, "I know I sometimes forgot to enjoy myself." She grinned.

Then a sigh, "I am still not sure, Thy is an odd teacher. Its still more like an older sister then a mentor."

[Alysele Cortess]

"That is why I am here." There was no witty follow up this time, though, just a reassurance.

"Well... perhaps that is what you need. You are smart, and resourceful. Straight up training might not be what you are in need of?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I...think you are right there," Yslane nods, "I can't help but feel the Master's put us together to teach responsibility to Thy and to help me with my indecisiveness."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Either that, or they threw a dice and decided based on random chance." She smiled. "She seems like a good master. You'll do fine. And you'll be a great knight!"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"...we shall see Alys," Yslane grinned, "Though I am happy with just Knight right now, great can come later."

[Alysele Cortess]

"One step at a time Ys." She laughed. "And when you've become great, you can let me know how to do it."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Right now Alys, I am still the one trailing in your Shadow," Yslane replied, "Or I should say Jedi Knight Cortess." She winked.

[Alysele Cortess]

"No, I'd rather Alys." She looked away. "I don't always feel like a Knight. I should, but... it's difficult."

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane reached out to comfort her friend again, "Hey, hey remember you have to be an inspiration to this Padawan." She squeezed Alys's hand gently.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Look Yslane, I love you, you're my best friend, but you really need to think on your role models better." She squeezed equally.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I said inspiration Alys's, not role model." She waggled the finger of her other hand, "That could also be in how not to act." Yslane teases, "But...you were always so cheerful at the Temple....a certain surety and self-confidence that seemed like such a strength. Seeing cracks in it worries me Alys."

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele shrugged. "Lying came easy from an early time. Especially to myself. I figured I'd rather do something with what I have then cry. That was left for the evenings." She squeezed Yslane's hand. "Have you talked to your family recently?" She changed the subject curiously.

Yslane squeezes back, clearly wish she could say more to help her friend...but she honors the change in subject.

"The Jedi are my family Alys....the people who gave birth to me were strangers." She looks down, "I tried speaking to them before I left Courscant, it was...awkward for both them and me. I...won't be visiting them again I think."
