"Because of my upbringing, having personal desires and ambitions always seemed pointless," she said, watching him. "Now it's not, though... Hmm. Right now, I'm simple. Family, friends, a home, my own freedom of choice without coercion. Things I haven't had until now. There's some other things, but not going to worry about those at the moment."

"Well, even for me those things don't come without compromise. Choice isn't always freedom from unpleasant things. Sometimes it's a choice between unpleasant things. I hope that whatever you want to do I can provide a pleasant alternative among choices. My hope to do so is probably the best thing I can offer you, and it's yours for the taking."

"If I wasn't willing to accept the consequences of choice, I would have remained a slave," she says, emphatic and firm. Almost aggressive, but not directed at him - just extremely determined. She lets out a soft breath and shakes her head. "But we discussed a lot of that the other day. I have a choice now, so starting with that is good enough for now. I think a bit more of it that just a pleasant alternative." She smiles.

"I love hearing you speaking with determination." He says with a playful grin.

She smiles at that. "I'm more so than most think. I just like to use... let's say judicious tonal judgement with certain parties."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Come for an early dinner at my suite tomorrow," he says with a warm smile. "Perhaps we can enjoy some more of your command voice."

"I'd be happy to use it all you'd like," she replies with a grin.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'll be inviting another friend as well, though I'm not sure if she'll make it. She'll be heading to Makeb and may not be back in time.

She nods, raising an eyebrow with a smile. "Another person and using the command voice? That's interesting. Someone I know?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I don't know if you do," he replies. "Shaisha Vreysk. We attended Korriban together and we've worked together since."

[Luth Khalan]

A slight blush crawled up her cheeks, unfortunately, drawn out by her red hair. "Ah... yes, we've met."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I see," he says as he leans in to kiss her. "Hopefully she'll make it and we have a fun time."

[Luth Khalan]

"I do hope so," she admits, then shrugs. "And if not... well, there's nothing wrong with having to entertain ourselves a bit." She leans in and meets his lips, kissing him with certainty.

[Zeno Deathwright]

He smiles at her after the kiss. "Nothing wrong with that at all. Are you ready to get out of here? We can walk and talk for a bit," he suggests.

"Yeah, let's go," she agrees, getting up after he does, since she's in the wall end of the booth.

Zeno takes care of the check and then heads out with her, offering an arm as they walk together.

She takes his arm as they go, smiling. "Where are you headed from here?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Heading to the spaceport for a meeting, but I can walk with you," he says with a nod.

[Luth Khalan]

"I won't be going all that far... Best of luck on your meeting, though," she says with a nod. She takes in the landscape as she goes. "We've been here a week now... What's your assessment of Nar Shaddaa?"

"It is a dangerous, interesting place with many amazing people and many failures. It's a difficult place to live and a lot of people make it work."

[Luth Khalan]

"It's certainly not a place where many can stay idle or unaware without suffering consequences," she observed.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I think most places should be more like it. Difficult to make a living but with plenty to keep one busy and working. It's possible to earn your own peace here and I congratulate those that have."
