“Even in peace the Jedi are needed, we are peacekeepers after all. Not soldiers, though one might forget that with all the fighting we do,” she says.

"Peace for others is not always peace for one's self," Yslane replies with a heavy sigh, "...what do you think of having a Padawan? Of me?"

"I think I have not been the best master, but I like it," she says honestly.

"Having a lackey, a student, or a younger sister?" Yslane asks dryly. Then her words are a more genuine, "I hope I don't disappoint regardless."

She is quiet and then says,”Master Xe’fi, he died on Korriban when the Sith invaded… I didn’t learn about it till long after he was dead. We got separated, I got frozen in carbonite… well I froze myself but it was a long day.”

"I'm sorry if I brought up some unpleasant memories, Thy," Yslane frowned and looked away.
