"I still have a long way to go, Master." Actually having Master Lorne be positive and supportive is... kind of weird.

Zane's concern, though, deserves some explaining aloud. Especially with the child in the room. Interesting that they have Ashla introducing the little rodian to the ways of the force, but it will be good for both of them. "Thank you. And that's not something I'd normally do, but..." she shows him the palm of her glove, "Cortosis-weave gloves. It resists most forms of energy, including lightsaber blades. It's why I can do things like that. Otherwise? My saber wouldn't take fingers, but I don't think I'd be able to feel my hand for a while if I tried that."

"I assumed you had some trick up your sleeves. Nice to see I was right." He offered as he looked over her gloves. He was only half convinced he shouldn't bop her, but decided against it for now. "Do you need to go to the infirmary? You seemed to hit that wall pretty hard."

“Rethink your methods Lorne, you have become too focused on martial excellence which seems to have blinded you to the fact your student has been prepared to take the next step. A Jedi should not seek adulation or congratulations for doing what is expected of them,” she says calmly.

“All the same, it was impressive. Let’s not make a habit of this in the future.”

The interruption of Master Shan brought another incident to Zane's mind and offering a encouraging smile to Arali he turned towards the older woman.

"Excuse me, Master Shan. Could I have a moment of your time?"

[Satele Shan]

She turns to Zane and says, "How can I help you?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"It's probably not my place, but your chastisements brought something to mind." He offered her a half smile. "There is another here you might have words with." His eyes shifted to Lyshea. "While I am sure Master Lyshea had only good intentions. Several days ago at a lunch she hosted, she drugged a group of force users. One of which was my friend, Master Lyshea did so without informing them or asking permission, and in doing so has pushed my friend on a path closer to the dark. As she has come to no longer trust the Jedi." His eyes turned back to Satele as he finished, trying to gauge her reactions.

[Satele Shan]

Satele does not seems surprised and says, "I agree that her actions reflected poorly on the Jedi. If your friend is willing I could speak to her and reassure her that we are all not as... frivolous with our trust as Master Lyshea. The Jedi are not above admitting when they are wrong, something I am thankful for."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'll let her know." He replied as he offered the older woman a warm smile. "I don't know if she'll come, but at least this way she has a choice. Thank you."

[Satele Shan]

"I hope at least she will give us a chance to explain," she says calmly.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'll encourage her to." He said with a small smile. "I'm not sure she will listen though."

"Either way thank you for your time Master Satele."

[Satele Shan]

“I am honored to have been some small help,” she says in response.

[Zanebry Varliss]

This waa kinda awkward, he'd been expecting the woman to walk away or something. Maybe even a dismissal? Trying to leave before things got too awkward, he tipped his hat in her direction.

"Well, if you do help her, maybe I can offer dancing lessons or something sometime as a show of my gratitude. Until then though, have a good day." Offering the woman one last small, he turned and walked towards Arali.

"I'm leaving Plum, good job, and ill see you later." Aly and Ashla recieved polite waves of farewell as well, before he moved to leave.
