"What kind of revenge can she take if you have a strong Darth as your master? Your defeat would be perceived as his or her weakness by the peers."

Aphr frowned. That wasn't the most convincing argument, but Moyr was a Sith. She'd gone through this all already.

"She's crazy enough to find a way. However...I'd rather not think about it too much, she seems good at following my train of thought, so I'll focus elsewhere."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Okay. Let's not belabour it. It is what it is." Moyr frowned. "Let's give it a break here, and try again in the afternoon. It's pretty obvious everyone's holed up for now."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr nodded, and huffed in annoyance as she sat down.

"This is annoying. Why did they have to mess up the streets here today of all days?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Because they are afraid. It's been a while since someone managed to kill a ranking Hutt. Crimson Shadow pulled that off. They want a show of force to scare people away, but the effect will be exactly the opposite. Weakness has been proven with Kidaja's death, now it's only a matter of time when we'll see a real revolution here." Moyr said without a sliver of remorse or worry.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Well..." Aphr looked up to Moyr "I'm not so certain that there will be a revolution, because it isn't the Hutts that have caused all the excess trouble."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Of course it is them. They had been abusing the lower castes for generations, extricating the Evocii from their heirtage and degrading them. They had it coming. What Crimson Shadow is doing is seizing opportunity of the eyes of the galaxy turned onto the Smuggler's Moon. Now they revolution has meaning because everybody knows about it."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Moyr...they're blaming the Jedi and Sith. They're blaming the peace talks. They're not blaming the Hutts" Aphr shook her head

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Really, dear? We're not listening to the same broadcasts then." Moyr cocked her brow.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I'm not listening to any broadcast. I'm listening to here" she motioned around them "these peace talks brought an unwanted war here after all. Plenty hate the Hutt, but just as many know things have only gotten worse since the talks started."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Here you hear voices of the ordinary people. Crescent Shadow are a little to good at what they're doing to be considered just an offshoot of ordinary people. The battle for hearts and minds is on. And this crackdown is not helping Hutt likability among those who they aspire to keep squeezing."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr sighed, and nodded. "On that, I agree. This crackdown is going to do more harm than good. They've gone a little too far, and nothing good will come of it. I..hope I'm not here to see this place come to the bloody conclusion that's coming."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Well, we need to work out an exit strategy for you then." Moyr smirked. "But this talk is for another time. Let's head out of here."
