Durasay cursed, looking over his cover. How could he get the civilians away before Azanak hit the detonator. Wide eyed, he watched as Alysele strode, issuing her challenge.

Something had changed with her. She seemed so... elegant and focused. A sense of serenity almost filling the room.

"May the Force be with you..."

"I did not. You gave it up, but take it back. Show me the warrior I met on the first night." She wasn't sure if she was flirting or not at this point, but she hoped he could be convinced. "Take that vest off. You have a warrior's weapon. Use that."

Azanak narrows his eyes and then begins to remove the vest, "I will have your life and be redeemed in the eyes of the Red God."

He cracks he neck and readies for battle. "Honor is everything, either I kill you... or I die, we all die." He drops the vest on the ground with a thump. "The Crescent Shadow will rise, and I will be reborn to fight again. Kill the rest of them." It is then that the team notices armed victims within the crowd of captives.

OOC: Initiative, roll cool. The rebels are using the civilians as cover this grants a setback for targeting them. They are at medium range within the casino. Azanak has Adversary 1 and Defense 1. Three groups of 4 minions for the Rebels.

Colonel Moraal peered up behind her shield from her improvised fortified position, tuned her loudspeakers to maximum, and turned them fully on Azanak.

"The Red God does not suffer fools, the Red God does not suffer craven martyrs. Live for your cause, die if you must, but this is not the way!"

She then closed with the Nikto warrior and bent low, sweat already starting to gather on her brow, and picked up his dropped weapon.

My dice were right the first time. Adversary upgrades once, intimidation downgrades once, so it cancels. If you are flipping destiny, then I will use another rank of intimidation and take an additional strain to downgrade that upgrade too. My original roll stands then, but Hala has one less strain and the Empire has one extra destiny.

Durasay carefully aimed at the rebels holding hostages, breathing slow, the red dot from the Bantha's eye wavering on one of the rebels.

Pulling the trigger, both blasters fired in a volley! Shots went wide!

The rebel draws a vibro-knife and tries to stab Jo’ren but the powerful fighter keeps any danger from his body but the determined fighter disarms the Sith with a sucker punch and kick to his weapon hand!

The second group of thugs fire on Hala and several searing bolts strike her, one even winding her with a vital blow. The other group fires on the pantoran but he hunkers down as the blasts sail over his head… buying Azanak a moment to strike.

He draws a vicious looking vibro-sword and strikes at Hala, “You will die, Imp!” He makes her pa by severing her arm near the shoulder with a vicious chop!

OOC: Durasay suffers a strain. Rebel #1 disarms Jo'ren. Rebel #2 hits Hala for 11 wounds and a Critical Injury, Azanak strikes Hala for 6 wounds Pierce 2 and a critical Injury for the Triumph, he suffers another strain total of 7 now. His Melee Defense is now 2 on top of Adversary 1 and Ranged Defense 1. Maneuver to raw the sword.
