"There's a lot to consider out on the Rim. I'll have to find my own supplies and trade for them. I may have to do so illegally, depending on what I need." Cole swallowed, "I think my skills are enough that I'm more valuable alive than dead, but I'm doing no one any good if I end up chained to a crime bosses' wall."

[Niall Organa]

"That's certainly true." Niall nodded agreement. "Although I think illegal becomes a little less meaningful out on the outer rim."

"Well..." Niall smiled. "I do hope you'll consider staying, regardless. There's still a lot of good you could do here, in the Republic. We're hardly short on the less fortunate." His smile grew. "Besides, I do owe you rather a lot, and I'd prefer not have to travel too far in order to repay you."

[Cole Ormont]

Solemn, Cole runs his hand through his curls, "sir, if it's no imposition, will you be returning home from Nar Shaddaa?"

[Niall Organa]

"I don't know." Niall said, spreading his hands. "So much depends on how things turn out here. But the possibility exists." He sighed. "Coming and going so much is hard. I wish it would be one or the other. I dislike having this much uncertainty in my life..." Another sigh at that.

He shook his head, shaking it off. "But the possibility does exist?" He raised his eyebrows, smiling just a little. "Does that mean you're considering a visit?"

[Cole Ormont]

"Perhaps you could put a word in for me with Captain Glascock. Perhaps I could take a brief leave of absence and give him my decision after that. It wouldn't need to be long, just enough to digest the outcome of the talks."

Cole's mouth twisted, "it might carry more weight if I took my leave on Alderaan."

[Niall Organa]

"Well then." Niall said. Nodding firmly. "It shall be done. I'll speak with your Captain later."

His expression went distant. "I suppose it would probably be nice to spend some more time at home, if it can be arranged. I just had leave there, first for the injury, then for my sister..." He sighed. "Alderaan may be my past, but it is also my future. I wouldn't have it any other way."
