The walls echoed as Hala's painful scream was picked up by her microphones and projected from the micro-emitters. At Durasay's orders, she scooped up the weapon clumsily underneath her good arm, pinning it with her free hand underneath the shield in an unusable fashion. She turned her emitters and rebukes Anazak once more before falling back behind the Hutt Security barricade.

Pulling out of combat

The rebels retaliate, the one facing Jo’ren is able to find an opening in his defenses but the strike leaves the rebel open for the Sith warrior. The other two squads seeing the Colonel flee focus on Durasay with deadly accuracy pinning him down as many blasts find purchase on the pantoran!

Azanak whirls on Alysels and swings his blade this way and that before finding an opening and stabbing the blade through the shoulder of her sword arm! He kicks her off the blade and says, “You are too weak.”

OOC: Azanak is at 11 strain, Rebels #2 have taken 1 wound, Rebels #3 unharmed and Rebel #1 has one guy left. Rebel one hits Jo'ren for 5 wounds Pierce 2. They grant Jo'ren a boost die for an action against them. Durasay takes 11 wounds and suffers a setback to his next action. Durasay takes another 11 wounds and another setback die on his next action.

As the rebel stabbed him almost ineffectually Jo'ren grinned fiercely and pulled the man onto one end of his twinblade. He spun out dramatically, bisecting the man and roaring in triumph.

Seeing the others in trouble he sighed and activated his communicator. "Now Lana!" He then threw himself at the next group of enemies.

Lana drops through the roof with a squad of Imperial soldiers rappelling down, she lands and ignites her crossgaurd saber with both hands and easily cuts through three rebel fighters with ease though no regard for the innocents.

She was not moved by the collateral damage as she glares at the remaining rebel!

OOC: Critical Injury to kill one and does 8 wounds with Breach 1, kills two more. Triumphs used. Rebels #3 now engaged with Lana and has 1 member left.

"You're gonna have to aim better than that to kill me, sleemo!" Durasay called out as he grunted from the shot.

Hearing the crash of Lana coming in, Durasay grimaced as he saw the Aspirant cut down rebels and hostages alike. Kriff!

Taking the time, he turned to face Azanak. Switching his primary heavy blaster, Red, to stun, he felt the Force flowing through him, and closed his eyes.

A blue wave erupted from his Blaster, and connected with Azanak, sending his Vibrosword flying.

Alysele fights through the pain and whirls her blade feinting be before using a graceful kick to knock the massive nikto to the floor keeping him off balance as they tables start to turn against him.

The thug facing Lana strikes with a careful slash of his blade but she easily deflects the worst of it and lands a vicious elbow to the face to make him pay for the effort! Other group tries to stab Jo’ren but make no progress against the defenses of the strong Sith.

Azanak reaches out and grabs the severed arm of Hala and uses it as a club of flesh as he strikes at Alysele! He slams her viciously and then kicks her down, Alysele destroys the arm with a swing of her blade as she lands flat on her back!

OOC: Alysele misses but uses 3 advantage to knock Azanak Prone and 2 more to add a setback to his next check. Alysele uses Parry to reduce Wounds to 3 Pierce 2 and she takes 2 wounds overall.

Azanak at 15 strain after soak, still standing. Lol Dice, the Lana roll is Group # versus Jo'ren they missed. Hit Lana for 5 wounds pierce 2, she uses Parry for 3 strain, reduces that to 1 and her armor soaks the rest. The thug takes a strain/wound due to the Threat. Azanak deals 7 wounds, uses the Triumph to Knock Alysele Prone! Threat used to destroy the arm.

"Time to die." There was a spectacular flurry of red light accompanied by assorted 'fzoom' 'swoosh' 'fzap' and then screaming sounds cut short.

Jo'ren was surrounded by bits of Rebel thugs. The hostages looked at him in awe as he turned his gaze towards Azanak's fight with Alysele...

“The dark Side will set me free,” she says as she kicks the final rebel down and then stabs her blade through him and then moves away heedless of the collateral damage… so many innocent dead, only fueled her power.

Alysele rolls to her feet and swings her saber and strikes at the downed Azanak and then back flips away into a prepared crouch ready to engage the nikto once more but also putting some distance between her and the morgukai!

OOC: Alysele stands with a maneuver and then strikes! She hits for 11 wounds and crits and grants the next ally a boost die! 5 wounds after soak! She spends 2 strain to move to short range! Total of 9 wounds and 15 strain.

Taking aim again, both Red and Blue pointed at the downed Azanak, Durasay grimaced. He was glad Aly was away. Making sure that both were set to Stun, he fired! Both waves of blue stunning energy cascaded into Azanak!

Ooc: 10 stunning damage, using the 1 advantage from the laser sight to trigger the second gun, thanks to the paired mod. An additional 7 damage, stunning. 17 total)

Lana nods to the Imperial troopers and says, “Get the nikto, bind him and bring him to the compound. Thank you Durasay for your service. We have transferred eight hundred credits to your account for services rendered. This is an Imperial matter now by the authority of Darth Xevious.”

Hala limped out from her cover, dropping two discarded stimpack absentmindedly as she moved around it. She had also removed her belt from her uniform and tightened it around the severed stump, but the colonel was pale from blood loss and forestalled shock.

"Get a bomb squad in here now!" He called back tontje security forces, before looking at Lana. "Thanks for being the cavalry." He watched where Alysele stood.

A Jedi Knight.

He offered her a nod, then a grim one to Jo'ren. Finally to Hala.

"Kriff!" He ran to her, holstering his blasters. "Let's get you to a kriffing hospital!"

"Make sure vest collected evidence. Figure out explosives... Bomb maker," she said somewhat coherently.

Durasay let the Colonel brace against him, if she so chose. Looking to the Aspirant, he thought for a moment. "Miss Beniko. Could I be so bold as to ask a favor? Consider it hazard pay, if you want." He watched her for her reaction.
