Somehow, he felt even more uncertain about this than their last meeting. It was probably because she had gotten married in the meantime. There was a strong possibility that her husband would kill him for coming here. But, he'd have to get in line.

Galen knocked on Night's door.

Night opens the door with more bruises though she has applied makeup to alleviate the worst of the physical impact. She smiles weakly, “I am sorry I had not called you… it’s been a long few days.”

"I was surprised, actually. I thought I wouldn't get another call after the wedding." He smiled. "But, I am very pleased to see you."

“Oh, you heard about that,” she says with mild embarrassment.

"I was there." he chuckled. "We arrived a bit late, though."

“Oh, well it was a beautiful ceremony and no expense was spared, everything one could hope for. Besides the part where people died,” she says and then goes to the kitchen.

"Sure." He followed her. "Marriage made it pretty clear you were intending to stay with him, in spite of how he treats you. So, I wasn't expecting another call."

“Not like I have a choice, he freed me from slavery, gives me a life… you don’t just run away from a crime boss of the Hutts. What was I to do, just tell him no thanks,” she says honestly.

“He’d kill me. Better to be alive and miserable then dead.”

"I understand." he nodded. "I just don't want to be the cause of any problems for you. I already have issues with one of the other bosses."

"Ryssa Lim." he sighed. "The crew I'm on took the wrong job. She threatened us and it's gotten worse from there."

"You pretty tailed bitch, I told you to stay at the apartment, you think I would not find you here!" someone says in Huttese, a man by the sounds of it. Night looks scared.

"Is that him?" he asked softly, as he attempted to sense whether the man was alone. Unfortunately, he couldn't focus on anything but the pounding on the door.

The man growls and says, “You’re my wife come down to the car while I kill this jerk for touching my goods.”

The man stumbles back and then two more blasts find his chest as Night blows the smoke from her own pistol. She wipes away the makeup and says, "Thanks lover..."

She walks over casually and puts two more bolts into her husband.

"Seemed like how this was going to go." he lowered the rifle. "Maybe it always was."

"He had it coming, probably," she says removing his blaster. "You have my thanks."
