[Shaisha Vreysk]

"This lake," she gestures out to the place.

"As I told you, I was once under His control too before. When you said you had seen me here on Nar Shaddaa before, I had no recollection of it myself and I've been following my own trail, so to speak, from that visit. It has now led me here... just didn't expect to run into company along the way."

She shrugs and looks back at the lake. "Guess I'll need to find out what's so special about this place..."

[Dapper Dog]

"It gives me the chills actually, I don't like it," he says honestly. "Too still."

So far she didn't find it worse than the trials on Korriban or Nathema, but she had to agree that the place was a little creepy.

Picking up her mask and slipping it over her eyes, she activates the built in scanners to get a better look at the place as well as any heat signatures that might be there.

[Dapper Dog]

It was cold, there was very little life in the lake from what she could see though she was on the edge of what was probably a very vast lake. It is eerie and silent, dark waters hiding darker secrets.

"Well... I've already done one crazy thing today, might as well go for a second one."

Shaisha slips off the concealing robes, knowing that such fabric would only hinder her movements underwater. At least the waters were pretty still so swimming shouldn't be any harder than the pool back on Nar Shaddaa. "Hold this for me, will you?" she says as she tosses the robe to Vain.

With her mask still on, she slips out the rebreather from her belt and begins to wade out into the water. She had come this far, after all...

The water is chilly and there is foreboding...

Shaisha's will was unbreakable as she made her way through the waters. She had passed the trials on Korriban, and she had survived Nathema... she would overcome this too.

[Dapper Dog]

“You meddle in things far beyond my child. You seek to defy the fate of the galaxy. You cling to the Sith because of mere indoctrination. You have exceeded them, you have broken your chains. They are murderous fools, there is more to the Force than you know,” a voice says as she delves deeper into the black waters.

The water gives way and she feels a presence before her that forms into a hazy image. It is vaguely man-like but it cycles through many faces as it speaks, “The more you run from me, the more you run to me.”

The breather mask over her mouth made speaking back rather difficult, but she trusted her thoughts would provide where spoken words could not.

"You misunderstand me - it's not indoctrination that drives me to fight and defy." Her thoughts drifts to her family first... not the man her father was now, but the way she remembered him from before as a child, and her mother, tall and proud in the red armor. And to the ones who had become family to her in the recent years; Sylvain and Kristal. Dear friends too.

"I'm not running away," she pauses her movements in the water before the hazy image. "Or to you. I seek truths... Nathema taught me what you really are, but there is still much more to learn."

[Dapper Dog]

“You have only seen what I wanted you to see; you know nothing of my goals or my true ends. I see now this Empire is flawed… the Sith philosophy is broken. I see no reason to put more effort into a flawed creation, perhaps I will destroy it all start a new,” the any faced apparition responds.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"A philosophy can only take someone so far." She carefully considers his words, reminding herself that the future was always in motion and that what she had foreseen once could change.

"... You are trying to stall me. To stop me," she retorts cautiously and swims closer. "You try to keep me from something here."

[Dapper Dog]

“There is nothing here, the one truth I learned was that searching for power was pointless. I had to search within, go ahead I will not stop you but you will find no secrets here that matter to me. It is an old dead forgotten place, a relic,” the many faced apparition replies.

“First Moyr and now you… all searching at fragments like looters.”

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Moyr?" There was some surprise in her mind. She hadn't expected the twi'lek to go here, and she begins to wonder why.

"It's not power I'm searching for... well, technically. I seek truths, answers... to understand more. All the power I have, I have found myself - within myself. Breaking free of your will made me stronger, and it has continued to make me stronger."

[Dapper Dog]

“I have bound the galaxy in my chains,” the many faced apparition says.

“If you truly seek to transcend them, then you only have to let me in. Not as before, you would not be a pawn but an ally.”

[Shaisha Vreysk]

His words gave her pause again, her movements only faint enough to keep her floating in the water.

Did her father face a choice like this at some point, she wonders, trying to quell the baser urges in her that egged her on to seize power.

"Why should I trust you? You used me, enslaved me..." her anger rises. Memories boil up in her mind as she thinks back to the day she was taken from her home... how she killed the soldier who came for her, moments before the robed pureblood incapacitated her.

"I am the daughter of Captain Sheliana and Lord Scourge - and I will not fail them. As you said, I must find power on my own, within myself... not from you."

[Dapper Dog]

“I know exactly who your father is and even what he plans to do, he will succeed, and he will fail. You though, your fate has become unbound, why seek life of mediocrity as a pawn for lesser Sith when you can serve an Eternal Emperor,” he counters with his many shifting faces.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I will never serve one who will destroy all I hold dear. Where my father fail, I will succeed, and I will choose my own destiny. Now," she hardens her mind, "out of my way."

He moves aside, “So be it, but I will not make this offer again, Shaisha.”

“I have devoured worlds, seen the death of all things. Your father has an imperfect understanding of my purpose. I do not desire the destruction of all things only the perfection of the State. I am a most perfect being, but I am surrounded by imperfection.”

“The Sith have failed me, and soon I shall abandon them to their fate. I will focus my will on those that will be my true successors. You can be the Vanguard of my return, you only have to take my hand,” he holds out his hand.

“I do not ask you to kneel as a Sith would, I simply ask for you to transcend your petty philosophy.”

The face finally finds a shape as he finishes, “I am Valkorian, the Eternal Emperor. I am beyond Light and Dark, I am eternal and perfect.”

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"... Perfection of the state? You speak of what this war is trying to accomplish for you... it's more than just a war. It's parts of a greater whole." She says, or rather, thinks in a thoughtful tone.

"Your return? And what would happen to me if I were to accept? You would once again make me your servant, as you did before? Or a hollow shell of who I am, like my father?" Her thoughts flicker briefly back to her conversation with Scourge, echoing his words that she would fail. That hers would be a path of pain and treachery.

And it made her doubt.

“You would be neither pawn nor a slave, you would be Shaisha, and more than Shaisha. I do not desire a slave, I desire one who will transcend Sith and Jedi,” he says thoughtfully.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Her mind turns through his words rapidly. She didn't trust him... not fully. But if she became powerful enough, then she could be more than who she was... strong enough to fight for those important to her, strong enough to do what she had to do.

It would make her strong enough to take down her enemies. The darkness in her eggs her on further to accept, to be more than what she is now, as she raises her hand hesitantly, still not taking his.

"... You planned this all along."

[Dapper Dog]

"I see opportunities," he responds. "You only have to seize them Shaisha."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She draws a deep breath. As deep as the breather mask would allow her in these conditions. The voice telling her that she would regret this became muffled to the sound of the darkness calling for power, to the side of her thinking that this could give her an upper hand for her plans.

Strange how this was the second generation of this bloodline making a deal with the devil.

Without saying another word, her hand reaches through the water and accepts his.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well..." Shaisha pursed her lips and looked at the fellow Sith who stumbled over the same thing as her. "That one's going to be a problem. Unless we can do something about it?"

She crossed her arms... her people were busy with other matters, and Anthy wasn't a demolitions expert.

He takes her hand in his.

“Then we are one once more, you will be my eyes while I am away. I will see what you see… feel what you feel. Identify my enemies… my allies. Prepare for my return it may take decades, it may not. We travel this road together, and I will guide you as you will guide me.”

“Together we shall build a most perfect Eternal Empire.”

OOC: Morality increases by 5, not Conflict but Morality. Deal with the Devil achievement unlocked.
