Broadcasts show the aftermath of the pleasure barge crashing into the city. Shortly afterward, they are taken over by Crescent Shadow once more. Footage was of numerous recordings of the ongoing battle, specifically doctored to only show how Magpie and the insurgents overtook the ship and the infighting between the Sith. Any speak of surrender and such was left out. "We had extended an offer to the Galactic Republic to negotiate their stance on our organization. I was disappointed to hear that they were unwilling to retract the so-called 'anti-terrorist' propaganda.

"However, it would appear that the Sith are much more amenable to our cause. Though there were dissenters among them, they were unable to stop the glorious destruction of the Hutts' decadence." He let out a chuckle. "I will agree that 'Peace is a lie' as long as this corruption and filth overtakes the galaxy.

"So lock your doors, run away, hire bodyguards, hold your loved ones close. None of it matters because we are coming."

Day 9 - Early Night



“Breaking news, we go to the Imperial News Network for ths one,” Jerri says.

It opens with a press conference of sorts and a man takes the stage, it is Darth Baras. He clears his threat and says, “News of my death is sadly premature. Crescent Shadow extremists tried to end my life, if not for the aid of the Hutts they may have succeeded. Tonight you have seen the actions of the Crescent Shadow, agents of an Imperial traitor, one that calls herself Magpie. Tonight she has been defeated, laid low by the Empire.”

“It saddens me that she was close to me, one I believed I could trust. Yet my own apprentice, Layne Hoshin threatened the peace talks with her madness. Nearly destroyed the peace we have all worked so hard to achieve. She has failed and will continue to fail as long as I draw breath.”

“More importantly with her treachery revealed, we now know that House Serasai was framed by her agents… and were not at fault for their treachery. They have my sincere apologies and I have spoken to the Dark Council to reinstate them as honored nobility once more. It has a been a grim day but the Empire will survive. We will endure. Thank you, no questions at this time.”

There are explosions all across Nar Shaddaa, at the Arena… at the Imperial and Republic compounds… thousands die as many of these explosions hit densely populated areas. Many buildings are leveled and many more are severely damaged.
