Remmington nods and heads over to wherever Cole instructs him to. "Took some nasty wounds. I think one of my ribs may be broken or something. Hurts when I try to exert myself a bit."

Cole turns on his spectacles with a tap and took some scans. "You've certainly looked better, but the good news is the rib isn't broken, just dislocated. All I need to do is," Cole placed one hand on the Sith's chest and the other on his back. He applied pressure, sharp and direct, there was a faint creak, a brief grinding noise, and a pop in quick succession. "There, you should feel significantly better now."

Remmington groans a bit but then gives it a test by moving his body around. "Ah, that pain is gone now. Thanks Cole."

He stops for a moment as he notices something. "Hmm... seems like that wasn't the only one."

"You might have what's called a systemic injury. I'll administer a first-approach treatment, basically drugs designed to counter any possible inflammation, perfusions, minor bleeds, that sort of thing." He paused, running a hand through his hair, "come see me again tomorrow. Your body's been through a lot, and it needs time to recover. If you do have a systemic injury, it will be much clearer then."

"Just, if you start feeling any new pain, stiffness, or notice any swelling, get me on the com straight away."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "Thanks Cole. I'll definitely come back again tomorrow. Hopefully no one will try to kill me by then." He chuckles dryly.

[Cole Ormont]

"And put me out of a job?" Cole deadpanned, and farewelled the man.

"I don't think you have to worry about that too much Cole." Remmington replies as he starts to leave.

Right before getting to the door though he stops and then looks around briefly. "Hmm... I probably should have asked this earlier but wasn't this somewhere else last time?"

Cole nodded, the last time Remmington had come to him had been at the shelter, "yeah. I used to do this at a homeless shelter. It was good, people knew to go there, already knew it was free."

Anger crossed his face, "too bad it's not there anymore."

"Ah... sorry to hear that. I'm guessing the cause was not natural?" Remmington asks to confirm his suspicions.

[Cole Ormont]

"According to Ashla, all acts of Hutt are considered natural," he bends the word with sarcasm.

Remmington chuckles. "I haven't see her in a bit. Though we did dance for a bit at that Hutt Con dance party a few days ago. I wonder what she has been up to."

[Cole Ormont]

Cole ran a hand through his hair, "she'd probably be pissed to know that I'm worried about her."

Remmington raises an eyebrow. "Oh? Do you mean that you haven't seen Ashla in a while as well Cole? Or that you know that she has been getting into a lot of trouble?" He asks.

[Cole Ormont]

"I've seen rather little of her since the Hutt trouble. She, uh, knew," Cole said the word carefully, "Kidaja. She didn't agree with me continuing with the clinic work after my run-in with the sleemo."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "I believe she mentioned something about being a slave under him for a while. It was not a pleasant experience from what I recall and can guess. Well at least Kidaja won't be bothering anyone anymore. I wish my Hutt problem would go away."

[Cole Ormont]

Cole cocked an eyebrow, "well, maybe a chandelier will fall on your Hutt too. And maybe there'll be a talented surgeon with a grudge on standby to make sure the job is done."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington chuckles. "Well I can certainly hope so. Unfortunately both the Republic and Empire need Dango alive at the moment." He does linger on that last word though.

[Cole Ormont]

Cole nodded, "what was the issue, anyway?"

[Remmington Thalalas]

"She says that I stole something from her. Which was inaccurate. I was just looking for something. That's all." Remmington comments.

[Cole Ormont]

With a sceptical expression, "and that required drugging you and dumping you in an alley?" he was shaking his head.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Yeah, it was a lot of bs. Basically got jumped and then shackled and had a blaster to my head. So I didn't have a chance to do anything at the time. She caught me completely unaware and dumped some ridiculous demands on me.

Course I did slice into Network Security. She probably didn't think anyone would do that and reacted poorly."

Remmington explains and then looks over Cole. "So what did you do?"

"Would you believe I had the audacity to provide free medical care at a free clinic? Outrageous, I know." Cole held his hands up in mock defense, then dropped them with a sigh. "It was shelter, and they burnt it down. They didn't just provide medical care, there was food and beds. I regret that loss more than anything."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "Ah... so they were demanding protection money even though you weren't actually making any money. I swear those Hutts got credits on the brain and can't think of anything else."

[Cole Ormont]

"If I wasn't a Xenologist, I'd swear that Hutts have credit chips instead of hearts." Delivered with the deadpan tone he usually used when joking, it was hard to tell if he wasn't actually being serious this time.

"Really? I would have thought it was brains instead." Remmington chuckles. "Hopefully I can resolve my problem once I get back to the Empire or at least out of the Hutt playground."
