Lady Luck ( Day 8 Early Afternoon Solmillo's)

"Remmy's no fun." He replied with a light chuckle. "I'll think about it though Cole, I can't give you a positive answer right now."

"Feel free to consider my previous offer though."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"I just don't want to make Shaisha jealous." Remmington teases back in retaliation.

[Cole Ormont]

Genuine confusion comes over Cole, Shaisha had made it quite clear his second night on Nar Shaddaa he wasn't her type. He clearly recalled his disappointment, because he hadn't figured she was his, either.

He shakes it off, "well, what happens on Nar Shaddaa stays on Nar Shaddaa, right?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Generally, as long as you don't take too many pictures and aren't too flashy." Z agreed with a nod. "It also helps being someone unimportant."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "That is very true. Did you have a chance to live it up a little while here Cole? I guess its back to boring navy work after this?"

He looks over to Z. "I guess things are going to be a bit boring for you Z when all us Imperial and Republic folk leave this planet."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"This is Nar Shaddaa, It's never boring Remmington." He took a sip of his drink. "Honestly I hope you all take some of the explosions and the like with you. This last week has been a lot more violent then usual."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Hey Z, don't look at me. I just brought my lightsaber as my weapon. No explosives, weapons of mass destruction, or doomsday devices. Plus most of that was due to the Crescent Moon gang wasn't it?" Remmington holds up his hands in protest.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Not like I'm blaming you Rem." He offered with a chuckle. "These crescent shadow folk didn't show up until these peace talks started though. I find the timing too convenient to be coincidence."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "I suppose you have a point there. Probably also because the Hutts are busy keeping tabs on the Empire and Republic people that the Crescent Shadow can move with less chance of being detected."

[Cole Ormont]

"And here I was thinking chaos was just the norm for Nar Shaddaa. I've been far busier patching holes in people than I ever expected." Cole's tone was dry.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Look at it another way Cole. It's job security for you." Remmington says with a smirk.

[Cole Ormont]

"That's the joy of being a doctor, there's always someone who needs you," and he winked, sipping his drink.

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "True enough. I am looking into studying medicine myself. It is good to have options."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I should probably learn a little myself." He paused thoughtfully. "I get into enough trouble it's high time I learn to patch myself up, at least a little bit."

[Cole Ormont]

"It's a handy skill to have, even if all you've got is an emergency kit. But for the love of all that's good, know your hygiene." There was a look in Cole's eyes, and an exasperated tone that said he'd seen some shit.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"I don't know about carrying around a doctor's bag around with me. Stimpacks do a pretty good job most of the time in a fight. After that, I can hopefully find a medic." Remmington replies.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I got a emergency as well as a proper medpac back on my ship. Don't really know my way around them that well. I figured they are good to have around though, just in case."

"As for hygiene, I'm a bit of a stickler for that type of thing. I guess that's a good thing when it comes to treating injuries?"

[Cole Ormont]

Cole took a mouthful of whiskey sour, set the drink down, and moved a card in his hand. "I treated a soldier for syphilis because his best mate had shared a stimpack. I wish I kidding."

[Zanebry Varliss]

Zane smirked. "I'm sure that's only a mild case of stupidity as well. You've probably run into far worse as a military doctor." His own drink empty Ne'bry signaled the waiter to bring him another. "I really don't envy you your job doctor."

[Cole Ormont]

"Oh, there is no end to stupidity in the military," he finished his drink and waved to the waiter as well, chewing the cherry at the bottom slowly. "I've grafted more than a few replacements limbs because of troopers who can't, or won't follow basic directions."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Well I'm glad that I invested into getting a medical officer for my ship." Remmington takes a sip of his drink.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"One hopes they learn their lesson the first time, and decide to follow the directions on the second." there was a short pause. "If there is a second time."

[Cole Ormont]

"One can only hope. With the war, the Republic wasn't about to wash out any able-bodied soldier."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I think that goes for both sides." Zane replied with a small smile. "I'm sure Remmington might know a bit more about that though." He finished as his eyes turned to the other man in a hat.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Well for the most part the Empire uses our soldiers efficiently." Remmington pauses for a moment. "Of course that is until you get the Sith involved. That tends to make their lives a bit chaotic depending on who they may be working under or with. That being said, the military is a good way to make it up in the world."
