Knight Moves To Queen (D11, EA)

Well, this place is a mess, Shaisha thought as she returned to the compound for the first time since the explosions. Still, she had a meeting with the Massassi Queen to get out of the way before her business on Nar Shaddaa would be concluded, and while she wasn't sure if her vision would be of any interest to Magara-sha, a part of her felt it would be wise to share it.

Announcing her presence, the female pureblood waited.

[Dapper Dog]

The Queen of the Massassi arrived with her honor guard, her war axe over her should for old times sake.

Shaisha pushes back the hood on her robes and kneels respectfully to the Queen. "Your Majesty, Nar Shaddaa is hardly worthy of your presence," she says with a smirk. "Thank you for allowing me a moment of your time."

[Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren nodded to Shaisha, arriving with the rest of the honour guard. He was interested in what business Shaisha had with Jug'tih, having heeled her to arrange the meeting. For the moment he kept quiet, content to let them get into it.

Shaisha pushes back the hood on her robes and kneels respectfully to the Queen. "Your Majesty, Nar Shaddaa is hardly worthy of your presence," she says with a smirk. "Thank you for allowing me a moment of your time."

"I am honored by the invitation, Shaisha. Shame I did not get a chance to fully enjoy all of the amenities that Nar Shaddaa has to offer. The Sith have been interesting allies, some quite welcoming, others... well you keep me on my toes. How do you feel about the peace that was struck?" she offers.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"It did not matter one way or another to me, but I see how it can serve its purpose in the long-run for the Sith as long as we don't let it dull our weapons," she says with confidence.

"But my purpose here today is more related to a vision I've had that I believe concerns yourself, your Majesty. The gift of foresight is still one I am adjusting to, but your insight on the matter might clarify some of it."

[Dapper Dog]

"Your gifts have expanded since last we talked. So what have you foreseen," she asks.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Cards in a game of chance," she begins, "the first card I see is a Monarch; the card is dark, its features difficult to read. The next, a card split in two; a Shining Knight on one top half, and a Dark Warrior on the lower half. The third card; nothing but black, the Void."

"I see a fourth, a Queen dripping with blood," Shaisha gives a nod to Jug'tih, "one hand holds a knife, the other a heart."

"The upright Shining Knight turns, becoming the Dark Warrior, as it absorbs the Monarch - it changes, and becomes Death. It moves toward the Queen as the Void grows larger to consume everything."

She sighs. "And that is where it ended."

[Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren was intrigued by the imagery and turned to watch the Queen's reaction. The Void didn't sound good. It didn't sound good at all.

"So you believe I am the Queen in this vision? That is an interesting development though we must be careful with such visions of foresight, they can be tricky to fully determine the meaning behind the symbolism. Who do you believe the other cards are, or should I simply avoid every warrior I see," she says glancing to Jo'ren.

Shaisha gives a glance to Jo'ren as well.

"Hard to tell, as the vision could be showing me things I'm still unaware of, like any enemies you might potentially have." She hadn't really been keeping up to date with Massassi business.

"I suspect that the Knight and Warrior is someone still yet to be revealed. Jo'ren is certainly a most capable warrior and champion, but the change in the vision implies a major shift in nature, perhaps even a jedi turning to the dark."

"What if Queen is simply figurative, what if this is a vision for yourself," she counters.

The younger Sith was honestly a little befuddled... as she hadn't considered herself to be the Queen in the vision, but rather the observer instead of an active role.

"Honestly, I had noticed considered that..." she admits, "Never seen myself as the queenly type before."

[Dapper Dog]

"Queen is simply a shorthand for power, maybe strength or ambition. I sense this vision is for you not me," Jug'tih responds.

Shaisha nods thoughtfully as she considers the vision in a different light. She could make guesses at the Monarch and the Void, but the Knight who would be a warrior was still a complete mystery.

"Well..." she smiles, "here I thought I'd be warning you of a possible danger to yourself, but it seems that might not be the case after all. Your insight is much appriciated, your Majesty... I still have a lot to learn about this gift."
