Call of the Wild (Day 10, LA, The Menagerie)

[Galen Sol]

"Many are dangerous or unusual creatures one wouldn't normally keep as a pet." Galen explained. "Having one is a symbol of wealth and power, as one would need such to acquire them, unless they are hunters themselves. Some are used for entertainment, intimidation or both."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "I guess that makes sense. Though I would prefer a slave. Simpler to deal with and probably have more uses."

[Galen Sol]

"That's likely true, but few would give the dangerous thrill of being around a rancor." he suggested.

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "There are always weirdos like that. So you are part of a crew that does transportation jobs?" He asks.

[Galen Sol]

"I was." he nodded. "I'm stepping away to do some personal travelling. I need a change of environment."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"That so? I hope you don't mind my asking where you plan on travelling." Remmington asks.

[Galen Sol]

"Honestly, I don't know." he admitted. "Wherever the Force leads me."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Well I do hope you give coming to the Empire a serious thought. The Korriban Academy is always on the look out for Force Sensitives." Remmington suggests.

[Galen Sol]

"I would be interested in learning more of the Sith philosophy." he nodded. "But, I have no interest in joining any order."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "I would be happy to tell you though I think some other people may be better at explaining that than I. Well if you are not interested in joining any order. What about working for one?"

[Galen Sol]

"That depends on the job." he shrugged. "I am generally open to most things."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"I was thinking something more permanent. Like as a retainer. Course if that doesn't interest you, I will keep you in mind for contract work. Though what do you have as skills as assets that you can do for a job?" Remmington asks.

[Galen Sol]

"I am not looking for anything long term at the moment." he shook his head. "I'm a hunter. I can track and trap creatures, or kill them if necessary. I can train animals, too. Beyond that, I've done scout work and sentry work and, at the least, I'm good with a rifle."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Have you had Force training yet?" Remmington asks.

[Galen Sol]

"A little, but I'm mostly self taught." he answered.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"I hope you consider signing up for Korriban Academy some time in the future. The Empire is always looking for Force sensitives. Plus it'll help you learn and advance your skill and power in the Force." Remmington suggests.

[Galen Sol]

"And, if I don't wish to be a part of the Empire, what would you suggest?" he asked.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"You can always try going to the Jedi Academy. I cannot really tell you anything about it as I don't know anything about it." Remmington states.

"I suppose you can always try to find someone to mentor you as well. Though it will be rare to find someone who isn't with one of these 2 sides. As a Force user, you will probably be drawn onto one side or another anyways." He surmises.

"I could show you perhaps the basics in exchange for services if that works better for you? Though my skill and power are not the best and I only graduated from the Korriban Academy less than a year ago myself. So I still have a lot to learn as well.

I can give you a lot of pointers and help with constructing and customizing a lightsaber too."

[Galen Sol]

"I won't be joining the Jedi, either." he shook his head. "There is someone who has agreed to mentor me, but it is good to explore my options. I am thankful for your offer. I will keep it in mind. If you should need a hunter, feel free to contact me."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Ah, that is fortunate that you found someone. May I inquire as to who that may be?" Remmington asks.

[Galen Sol]

"The woman who was responsible for first time we were in a room together." he answered. "Lyshea Mersl."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "Well a Jedi Master should have a wealth of knowledge. You can probably learn a lot from her."

[Galen Sol]

"That is the hope." he smiled. "She has a unique perspective that should be insightful. And, should allow me to remain independent."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Did you talk to her more after that dinner? I didn't get to talk to her that much. So I am a little curious." Remmington admits.

[Galen Sol]

"I did." he nodded. "A few times. We spoke here about the vision I had and the training it could lead to. I gained a better understanding of the Force from that alone. But, we've met a few more times sense, as I sought further insight."
