"Do you know where this Dr. Karis went? Could you give a description? We'll try and find her, but we need these supplies ready to move as soon as we get back."
She's not about to abandon anyone they could save to this place.
"Hard to miss, she's a hutt, brilliant though not exactly easy to get along with, only hutt on the station," the woman responds.
"I believe she went to the lab to try and synthesize a better cure, but she is probably dead with all those things running around." The two survivors give them directions and card keys that should get them into the lab, if they can make it.
OOC: Going to save the daughter will take three checks these can be assisted by another member of the team; a combat skill check, Resilience check to weather the attacks, and an Athletics or Stealth check to get to the lab and back to she ship with speed or stealth. These are all at Average. If a roll is failed one member suffers 3 wounds.
Now there's an interesting question. Would such a disease affect Hutts? Half their longevity is extreme resistance to disease and poison.
But no time for musing. Arali leads the way back out with Ashla at her side, watching one another's backs as they advance through the infected.
((Lightsaber: 2eP+2eA+3eB+2eD3 successes, 1 advantage, 1 Triumph I recommend the Resilience roll be Luth with Ashla supporting, as Togruta Power means Ashla gives Luth two boost dice instead of one. Are either of you good at stealth?))
Luth takes the lead when it comes to stealth, and fortunately, her training as a spy is very useful here. She makes her way through the station with barely a whisper.
The trio are able to get the doctor and and the supplies back to the ship while fighting off the rakghouls, and sneaking by others. They get to the Everlight even with aiding a hutt and detach from the space station. Dr. Karis chuckles and speaks in basic, "Well that was an unexpected rescue, I was assured we would probably die there so I continued my research. I was able to create a serum for that strain of the virus, but it won;t really be useful for any other strains... alas perhaps if we had more specimens I could have come up with something more effective."
OOC: Dr. Karis has a serum that will aid the infected, congrats on not dying.
