Anywhere but there (Day 10 EN Expecting)

[Zanebry Varliss]

"A mistake on my part. I know you still do, she's one of the nicest people I know after all." He didn't stop in his cleaning, gently wiping the juice stains away.

"I am sorry though, for not noticing how you felt about her, not until it's to late."

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele chuckled and learned forward, kissing Z's forehead.

"I don't blame you. I should really thank you more really for everything you've done for me."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"By getting plum juice on me?" He asked, reaching up with the towel to wipe off his forehead. "Really though, I'm happy to help when I can."

He tapped her on the thigh. "Now off with that top, I dont know how you got that juice everywhere."

"Yes sir."

She gave him a salute before pulling the blue and white dress off over her head, Arsele dressed in silk white lingerie underneath.

"You have great taste." Zane murmured in appreciation as he took a moment to take her all in.

Offering her a smile he continued washing her a moment later, the towel gliding across every spot the juice could reach. "You must spend half a fortune on lingerie."

"What better to spend my credits on than clothing?"

It at least made sense to her.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Could save it, for those rainy days." Zane replied with a smirk. "Though that argument holds little water coming from me."

He pulled away the towel, looking at her critically. "I think we're done, still feel sticky anywhere?"

[Arsele Girard]

"Nuh uh, I'm good I think."

She leaned back on the counter, shoulder blades against the cool mirror behind her.

"Though saying that I just drank too much, ate out a piece of fruit, and am sitting in a hotel bathroom in my underwear. So that's all relative..."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well, if it helps at all, it was rather hot." Zane replied as he leaned against the wall opposite of Arsele. "And on the plus side as well, at least I'm not trying to eat out you."

[Arsele Girard]

"Yeah. That's how you get soap in your ears," she says, with a slight smirk.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"True." He agreed with a smirk. "I suppose there are worse things in life though."

"If we do that again, we should really aim for more convient places... Was your table fixable?"

[Arsele Girard]

"Yeah, it was fine, in the end."

Arsele looked over Z's shoulder, "...you know, I might just take that shower anyways."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Do you want some company?" He asked raising a eyebrow. He really didn't think she would, but he'd happily join her if she asked.

Arsele pursed her lips.

"I... do you want to be my company then?"

She gave him a hard stare.

[Zanebry Varliss]

He sighed softly looking into her eyes. "If you're asking me if I brought you up here to have sex with You? No, that wasn't my intention. Honestly I just didn't want to be alone tonight." Zane finished with a soft smile.

"If you're asking me if I desire you? I certainly do Arsele, you're about everything I've ever wanted in a woman." There was a small pause before he sighed again. "Perhaps I'm just being a idiot again, I should go to bed."

She shook her head, ''I wasn't asking why you brought me up here, no. And I knew the second part. I was more simply asking how genuinely you wanted to take a shower too."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I could use one." He conceded after a moment. "Though keep in mind I was shot a bit earlier today, and last night."

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele nodded and slid down off the counter, "Seems like a good reason to me; Blaster fire can definitely use some after care like that."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Especially when it's s but hard to reach." Z mused as he began to remove his vest and the crisp white shirt beneath. Stim packs had done much to seal his injuries, pale pink skin the only indication of where they had been.

There was one that wasn't fully healed though, a narrow line that ran along his back.

"Fortunately doctors don't have the same reach problems, hm?"

Arsele slid of the countertop and undid her bra, slipping it off before stepping out of her panties.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"True, but doctors are pricey." Zane replied as he slipped out of his pant's opening the door to the refresher so Arsele coudl step inside before him. He did take a few long moments to take in the beautiful woman, but otherwise didn't react.

"The stims will finish working themselves through my blood stream by tomorrow, so I'll heal the rest then."
