When in Nar Shaddaa [D11 EE]

He snorted. "I don't think the Hutts are going to look into you activities at a strip club." Zane mused as he watched the young woman arrive, with the intention of claiming a spot in Remmingtons lap.

"That does sound like trouble, anyone in particular that got into it?" That information could prove quite useful after all.

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington chuckles. "You make a good argument." He lets the young lady have his lap. While making some token light conservation with the girl, he continues his talk with Zane.

"Well one of them was on the news. Darth Baras claims that his apprentice Layne is the traitor Magpie. Something like that."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I generally do." Zane replied with a smirk, taking a small sip of his whiskey.

"No offense to Lord Baras, but I find that unlikely... I've seen both women, and well the curves don't match to say the least. Unless Layne is using a stand in. Magpie also seems entirely too ladylike in comparison."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington chuckles at Zane's first comment. "I find it unlikely as well. Layne is also way too direct to possibly be a secret operative."

He looks at Zane for a moment. "That is something. I haven't even seen Magpie yet. So what is she like?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I just saw her on video, but she seemed slender. Layne seemed to have a bit more strength to her, more curves..." He shrugged. "The lighting was pretty bad so it was hard to tell."

"She really did come off as older though. More refined."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"I didn't see any video about that. I must have missed it." Remmington comments as he tries to go over in his head the news and such over the past week or so.

"In any case, I wonder what is going to happen with Layne now. Or with Darth Baras for that matter if Magpie keeps showing up."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well, can we really know if Layne is even still alive? At the very least she pissed off a Darth after all." Zane mused as he casually watched the women dancing.

"As for Darth Baras? Who knows, I can't imagine this magpie giving up... So he is likely to be in for a bit of trouble."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington chuckles. "Layne isn't going to die so easily."

He nods in agreement. "Yeah, she caused some trouble here it seems. I don't know all the details myself. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Layne ends up teaming up with Magpie after Darth Baras threw her under the speeder car."

[Zanebry Varliss]

Zane shrugged at that, people could die much easier then most would think after all.

"I suppose time will tell in that regard... Though is Layne the type to bomb a city? Killing men women and children?"

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington shakes her head. "No, not personal enough for her. She likes talking back to higher authority people though."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I doubt that Layne will join Magpie then." Zane offered thoughtfully. "Crescent Shadow doesn't seem all that direct after all, not from what I've seen. Bombings, poison gas, things like that seem to be their forte."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "Good point there. So Magpie has been working with Crescent Shadow after all."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Seems that way." Z replied as he took a sip on his drink. "Though I can't really be certain, it's a possibility she joined part of the way through."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington shrugs. "Well in any case, it's not our problem. Guess we'll see what the future brings."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That's a solid point, it's not like I'll ever meet Layne again, even if she managed to survive." He lifted his glass to his lips. "And we each have our own futures to worry about."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "I wish you the best with yours. So let's enjoy the time we still have together on his moon."

He signals for a couple of more girls to come join them.
