Some tidying (D0, The Starcross OPEN)

[Galen Sol]

"Anything living in the surrounding area." he nodded. "If I focus on doing so. With just one creature, I can get a sense of its mood."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"So it works on people?" she asked, now more wary.

[Galen Sol]

He nodded again. "It does. As does my ability to influence creatures. I don't like doing that, though. Even with animals, it only comes up when they pose a danger to others or themselves."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"You can tell how I'm feeling then?" She asked again, wanting to make sure

[Galen Sol]

"If I wanted to, I could try." he explained. "I'm not very good with people, though. And, I wouldn't want to pry into a friend's feelings."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Well, it would be something important to learn. With the peace talks, I would like to know what the Jedi and Sith can do, so it would be educational" Aphr smiled "I trust you. Xero would throw you out of the ship mid-flight if you did something bad after all, right?" she laughed.

[Galen Sol]

"Without opening any doors." he nodded with a chuckle. "Are you sure?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I'm sure" she nodded

[Galen Sol]

He reached out towards her, more to show what he was doing than out of a need to. Mentally, he focused on her and her emotional state.

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr didn't move, unsure what she was supposed to do Her emotional state was one of nervousness, but curiousity. There was also something else, something about her that he would have felt before in passing but when searching seemed far more prominent.

[Galen Sol]

He nodded as his suspicions were confirmed. Then, he gave a slight mental nudge, soothing her with a sense of peace and contentment. That didn't seem to work, though.

He smiled. "Well, at least you aren't full of rage and hatred towards me. Just a little nervousness and curiosity, maybe something more."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I didn't feel anything though. You seemed to concentrate more by your facial expression, but I never felt like you were trying to see my emotions" Aphr commented, surprised "so you can't tell if someone is reading your emotions?"

[Galen Sol]

"Honestly, I don't know." he admitted. "I'm not aware of it ever being done to me. Some might be able to sense it easier than others, though. You, for instance, are resistant to having your emotions influenced. I was trying to convey a soothing feeling, but that didn't work."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I am?" Aphr looked surprised at that "perhaps it's because I've got used to others around me trying to manipulate me?" She smiled though "thank you though for trying. I do want to know...to understand the force a little more. Although Xero doesn't like it."

[Galen Sol]

"His feelings regarding it are understandable, but I can't imagine him denying your curiosity." he smiled. "Have you ever experienced a feeling or event you couldn't explain?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Yes" Aphr said without hesitation "quite a few. One...caused my tardiness this morning. A few others times...such as with the Jedi passenger, I have felt something strange about the person."

[Galen Sol]

"Like with me." he added, with a nod. "Would you be willing to tell me more about this morning?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

She hesitated, looking about before moving further away from the entranceway and beckoning Galen over with her. She whispered very quietly.

"In my dreams, I see a Twi'lek wearing a mask murdering someone with a lightsaber. She's laughing about it too, but I never see her face. When she goes to take the mask off I wake up. Also sometimes...I feel myself drawn to Nal Hutta."

[Galen Sol]

"I can understand why that had the effect on you it did." he gave a sympathetic smile. "Have you ever had strange dreams before?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I've had that same dream on and off for three months. It's been more frequent in the last few weeks, almost every night now" she commented quietly "it felt so real..."

[Galen Sol]

He bit his lip in a moment of silent thought. Finally, he looked her in the eyes.

"It's beyond me, but I've heard stories of the Force providing visions of things far away or yet to happen."

[Aphr Ahaya]

There was a small frown at that, but she didn't shy away. "And why would the force show me of all people these odd things?"

[Galen Sol]

With a hesitant sigh, he answered. "Because the feeling you get around me and our guest, I get around you."

[Aphr Ahaya]

There was a confused look about that. It didn't make sense. "Why would you get that feeling around me? I'm...I don't..." she took a moment to get her thoughts in order "I'm not a force user. At least, I don't think I am?"

[Galen Sol]

"You can be." he explained. "And, on an instinctual level you may already be using it."
