I was thinking instruments fell under physical?

I think it's pretty amorphous though.

Could depend on the instrument... But it's probably looking at as an overall performance vs just playing it.

Agility for dancing, instruments, etc.

Presence for singing, oratory, poetry, painting.

Honestly it's kinda weird not having skills for those; Anyone can say they're an artist or performer really without them. And basing it on existing skills means it's really generalized; IE if you're a great dancer you're also a great a great mime/acrobat/juggler or whatever.

Not too important I suppose and not much to do about it. Just... weird.

It's not something the game focuses on modeling, so they don't want to punish people who want to flesh out their character with interesting but irrelevant skills by trying it to a mechanical cost.

But yeah what Arali said, the system seems to focus more on the adventure/space opera aspects of Star Wars.

It's not something the game focuses on modeling, so they don't want to punish people who want to flesh out their character with interesting but irrelevant skills by trying it to a mechanical cost.

Most of the game system is pretty minimal in style and sticks mostly to the abstract (I mean, just look at the Knowledge skills). Hence the lack of mechanics around languages, hobbies and past-times (with the exception of things like Mechanics, since you use that to repair or create gear).
