"So, where are we going?" Aly drew her brown robes over the white ones underneath. It was pretty darn warm, but she figured her regular white robes would stick out. "And how far?"

She glanced at at the Falleen padawan. "You met him before?"

[Nekoinu]

"I thought I told you that I know of him, not know him." Zuraa kept walking at a brisk pace. "And it's not that far. Just have to navigate around all the filth." She pushed aside a begging Evocii and continued on her path. "It's even worse here than on Coruscant," she muttered.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Sorry, been a long day." Clanddestine meeting #1, bounty hunting, and a tense dinner. "Navigating filth sounds like an every day activity here." She looked around, her hand hovering near her saber. "Let's be quick about this. I'm pretty sure your master will want you up and at 'em early in the morning."

[Nekoinu]

"Right. Try not to keep your hand by your saber when we actually get there, alright?"

Eventually, the duo made it to the alleyway. A few hushed whispers between a loiterer and Zuraa led to a secret passageway being opened up.



"Well hello there! Welcome to my shop! I've got the best deals anywhere and... oh! Oh you're her! Yes, yes, yes, come over here." The Duros turned 180 and then 180 again and smiled at Alysele. "I don't remember her mentioning someone else. But whatever, I'm sure you're fine. Someone else might have gotten super angry or something, you know!" He shot Zuraa a look. "So remember to warn your dealers, alright?! But yeah! Zios Thran, pleasure to meet you both."

[Alysele Cortess]

She kept her hands away from her weapon. For now.

"Greetings. You are right, that was impolite. Alysele Cortess, a pleasure to meet you. I heard you have some unique goods?"

[Nekoinu]

Zuraa made her own introduction as well. "Right, right, right, good. Nice to meet you and all that." He turned back around again and led the way deeper in. "I always have unique goods," he corrected with the same pep, "But today I believe it is especially special for you two."

The dealer eventually stopped at a table lit up by an overhanging lamp. There was a small box in the center, hardened and locked. "Excuse me," he said as he placed his body in the way to input the code. Afterward, it opened up, allowing him to swipe out a crystal before shutting it closed. "Now, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I have no idea what this crystal does or what it's called. However, I know it's for a lightsaber!"

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly's lit up. She extended her left hand delicetaly. "May I?" She looked at the crystal in the meanwhile, perhaps it was something she encountered?

You may elect to meditate on the crystal with Discipline (Willpower) or try to study it with Lore (Intellect). The difficulty of the check is Average. Zuraa can help you with the Lore check for one Boost die.

The crystal in her hands was a Dantari crystal, one found on the planet of Dantooine.

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly tried to hide her amazement.... a Dantari crystal! Nice. Instead, she critically raised the crystal to her eye, and took a good look at it. "Nice... you have many of these?"

[Nekoinu]

"Well, not enough for me to be satisfied! But relatively, yes! I have other components that may be used for a lightsaber!"

Meanwhile, Zuraa peered over at the crystal. "Is it a good one, Lady Cortess?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"It's not bad. Of course all crystals are rare." She didn't want to go into too much detail. "There are better ones." That much is true.

"What kind of other components? Can I have a look at those as well?"

[Nekoinu]

"Sure, sure, sure. Sounds good to me." He plucked the crystal out of her hands and went back over to place it back in the box. "Well, come along then. Let's go look at what else I've got." Zios ushered the two Jedi over to another box, this one considerably less sealed. He opened up the padlock and revealed a sorted set of electronics. Although it was difficult to ascertain the entirety of it, it was clear that hilts could easily be modified with such a collection. "What do you think, hm, hm?"

[Alysele Cortess]

She was disappointed as the crystal was taken away from her, but still... it was good to know that it was on the market, for now. She looked at the electronics... some of them common and general, some of them more tightly focused.

"Interesting... you seem to have a useful collection sir." She bowed lower, to observe it all, ignoring the padawan for now. "How much for these? And the crystal? And how much else do you have? We have.... many friends." She glanced towards Zuura.

[Nekoinu]

Zios nodded. "Yes, yes, very good stuff. As for the cost," the Duros trailed off. He scurried back and forth between his sealed mini-box and the component box. Eventually, he stopped, and looked to Lady Cortess. "With all the crystals included, that's a hefty sum. My first price is 150000 credits."

[Alysele Cortess]

She frowned. "That includes the other crystals and parts, I assume." For those few items... yeesh! It was high. "It is a hefty sum, for sure... I am sure a bulk discount could be negotiated?"

"That is the bulk discount," he replied, the smile still on his face.

"Well, okay, wow," Zuraa added.

"Oh come now, my dear. I am sure you understand that these goods are not easily movable..." She smiled at him disarmingly. "The war has but taken a brief lull, but who knows? We will need these items, I am sure."

She moved closer, and she felt something.. swelling inside. The Force, it wasn't coming as it does usually, but more primal, angry, powerful... she pulled on it, to plant a teensy bit of fear into her conversation partner. "You are a generous man, I see it in your eye."

Hm." Zios crossed his arms in some more thought. "I can lower the price to 125000 credits. How's that sound, then?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"It's... better." She said with a forced smile, glancing at the Falleen. That was a truly insane amount of money.

"For these specific parts, in case I want to accessorize?" She indicated towards the crystal and the parts.

[Nekoinu]

Zuraa met Alysele's gaze and merely shrugged. "Ah, yes, well, we can certainly work something out for individual parts!" the Duros said with the same enthusiasm as always. He pulled out his datapad and looked up expectantly at her. "Well, what will it be?"

Recalling her earlier encounter and floundering against the assassin, she made a decision. "I'd like this one." She gestured towards a curved hilt that she could use to customize her saber. Make it more... duelisty. Yes, that is a word.

"Nice choice." Zuraa presented her own. "Saber buddies? Hm, that sounds weird. Whatever."

"Women with curves?" Offered Aly, fatigue getting to her. "Thank you." She looked at the hilt... it will be put to good use, for sure.
