Watching (D1 ME OPEN)

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr needed to be in the lower levels of the city for her meeting later. However, she was very early, and there was no better place to be distracted for a few hours than the Shadows.

She didn't want to be noticed, so she slipped in quietly, finding somewhere to sit as she listened to the world around her for a while.

[Nekoinu]

The club was joined by the oddest of patrons. The others who noticed her were confused to see the serene Jedi walk inside, her posture impeccable. And yet, her form was covered in simple Jedi robes. However, soon enough, their attention was directed elsewhere to the many distractions of Shadows.

"May I sit with you?" the Miraluka asked the young twi'lek.

[Aphr Ahaya]

There was so many people at the nightclub, yet this one stood out the most. Not because of her robes, which were different enough, but she had that feeling about her. She gave the woman a smile, and a nod. "You're welcome to join me. It's crowded in here huh? I'm glad to have found a table that wasn't taken already."

She motioned to the comfy seats at the table.

[Nekoinu]

Lyshea took the seat as indicated and nodded. "There are many present here," she affirmed. She kept her hands neatly folded on her lap. "Why did you come here alone?" she inquired with a gentle tone.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I had time to waste before a meeting, and there's no better place to be if you want to be part of the crowd" Aphr said with a chuckle "as for alone? I work alone generally. I'm careful, and quiet. Been around these parts for years, I know what to expect."

She looked to the woman, who looked very proper.

"Aphr is the name" she offered a hand to the woman

[Nekoinu]

"I ask you this then: do you work alone because you do not trust others or are you afraid to trust them?"

The Jedi smiled and took the hand with gentle poise. "Please forgive me. I was acting as if I had already known you. I am Lyshea Mersl of the Jedi Order."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Neither, Lyshea" Aphr shook her head as she shook the womans hand, letting it go as she continued "I work alone because it's my job to. Although I cannot say my work is the worst, after all I'm only alone when I'm not meeting people, and I'm not alone now am I?" she gave the Jedi a sweet smile "can I get you a drink? They have quite the selection here from what I've heard."

[Nekoinu]

"What is your current employment?" she inquired. Lyshea then shook her head. "I do not mean to be rude. I do not drink alcohol."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"None at all? What about non-alcoholic?" Aphr offered instead "and I serve on the Starcross. You're a curious one aren't you, Lyshea of the Jedi Order. What brings you to this nightclub?"

[Galen Sol]

A friend of a friend of a friend had recommended Galen to the club as someone who could keep an eye on things and keep out the troublemakers. Being a bouncer wasn't his preferred work, but a few more credits were always welcome. There were a few disruptions during his shift, but overall, things went well.

"If you insist," she said with a smile, "Order me what non-alcoholic drink you believe is best."

Lyshea muffled a laugh in her sleeve. "Yes, I believe 'curious' would aptly describe me. As for my purpose being here, that is related to my curiosity. My visions have driven me here."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Back in a moment then" she smiled at Lyshea, moving to the bar and ordering two sweet non-alcoholic drinks, bringing them back a few moments later.

"So, you had a vision about a nightclub?" I wonder if that's anything like my dreams "maybe I can help? What was the vision?"

[Nekoinu]

Lyshea say at the table upright and apparently staring straight forward. When the twi'lek returned, she took the drink and sipped it immediately. "This is good," she said with a bright smile. "What is it called?"

The Jedi shook her head. "It may sound odd but I saw that you were having visions yourself. I do not know what they are but there is a darkness surrounding them." A pause. "Can you confirm that?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"The drink is called a Bellini, but a non-alcoholic version of the drink. A mix of sweet fruits, chilled, with some ice cubes to go with it. One of the fruits juice drinks is made sparkling as well, from what I understand" she offered in explanation, more of a stall tactic than anything. She took a long drink before speaking again. "You had visions of me having dreams" a small sigh, before she nodded "I don't know if there is a darkness, but they certainly feel wrong."

[Nekoinu]

Lyshea listened intently to the explanation. Each sip she took was small, reserved, but she took many. "I vision of dreams that have been occurring for a long time now. I would ask what they were about."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I've had the dreams for around three months. A woman in a mask, killing someone with a lightsaber." She didn't mention that the woman was a Twi'lek, not knowing this woman other than that she was a Jedi "I don't know who the woman is, the dream ends before she takes her mask off."

[Nekoinu]

"Do you know whom the woman attacked? Is the mask distinct with any details?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I do not know the person, other than that the person being killed was a woman. The mask...the details are hazy on that also. It's red, very red, covering the whole womans face. She is laughing the whole time."

[Nekoinu]

"The masked woman must be strong with the Force or connected to you in some manner. As for the attacked, I am not sure." A pause. "It may be you. Or it may be something you can interfere with. Or it may simply speak of the masked one's capabilities."

[Aphr Ahaya]

There was a small frown. "So the dream was given to me to either witness, or intercept? I'm certain that neither woman is me, it felt like I was viewing it, not involved in it."

She sipped her drink.

"Is there any way I can find out more from the dream? Where it is...who it is? Or is it always this vague?"

[Nekoinu]

"You may follow the Force and discover its meanings. But yes, commonly visions are quite vague." A soft smile. "I learned to accept this truth after a troubled period of youth."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"So you've had a lot of visions?" Aphr frowned "I've not had any before these. They just became more and more frequent the closer we got to these peace talks."

A thoughtful pause as she sipped on the drink.

"Follow the force huh..."

[Nekoinu]

"There are many individuals with strong connections to the Force on this moon. Perhaps it is a vision of what you shall encounter here." She then nodded. "I do. I saw you and others all converging on this occasion."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Do you follow the visions to conclusion then? Or allow them to just happen and trust that you'll find yourself in the situation from the vision eventually?" She was more curious now

[Nekoinu]

"It depends on how much information I have, Aphr. If I know where to follow then the Force meant for me to go. If the visions are vague, then I will wait and see what happens."
