Vec Gunnar wrote:Vec arrived at a time that more high-born people would call 'fashionably late'. It was perhaps he had been expecting that there would be an alert of a firefight breaking out at Club Vertica when the Imperials and Republic had decided to meet on peaceful terms. Or, it was perhaps that he didn't care too much for such occasions. It was rather evident in his choice of clothes when he didn't keep some sort of dashing suit or robe that would transform him into a charming prince whenever he was off-duty. Special events asked you to be less than armed, which was already a special occasion for Vec.
He arrived dressed in slacks and a shirt, both black, all under a long black coat he favoured. His blonde hair was combed a little, at least. He gave each non-Imperial face here a glance and saw that there was a semblance of order here. Still, it would probably take some time before he would tone his personal guard down.

Alysele Cortess wrote:"Thank you Sith Thalalas, the honor is mine." The response was slightly forced though.
"Perhaps... a bit later. I do not think even training weapons would ease the mood. Some day perhaps, some day." She patted her saber, but didn't withdrew it. "I hope you understand if I say that for the time beings, I wouldn't want to go into details of our Jedi training. I am thinking of accessorizing, so if you know of any place where I can find attachments, I would appreciate it."

It seemed she'd scented blood, and there was a stalking hunter's slant to her posture. "I'm a medic before anything else. Doesn't need to be anything so dire as assassination. I can patch up huttball players just as proficiently."
Sylvain Torsin wrote:He nodded. "Best part about my day thus far."
Cole Ormont wrote:Speak of the devil, "that's her. I suppose I didn't mention she's a Jedi. Is that a deal breaker?"
Col. Hala Moraal wrote:She gave him a wry smile and nodded.
"And you, Captain."
Shaisha Vreysk wrote:"It might be... Jedi do seem to have a wish to exterminate my kind," she didn't specify if she meant Sith or sith, and her narrowed eyes watched the Togruta from afar.
Cole Ormont wrote:Cole had left out the part about the young woman's reluctant affiliation on purpose, but as he watched Shaisha's fiery eyes, he found himself curious. "Yet here we are, at peace talks. Why don't I introduce you? Extermination-free, guaranteed." He chuckled a little under his breath at the rhyme and took another swig from his drink.
Layne Hoshin wrote:She turned to the man who addressed her, and considered the question. It probably wasn't an attempt to flirt, she decided. Though if it was, it'd been a pretty terrible attempt anyhow. Of course, she didn't know any Organa's, despite crashing one of their parties not too long ago.
"Why?" She asked, curious to see where he'd take this.
Shaisha Vreysk wrote:"... It is for the sake of diplomacy, after all," she said with some resignation, gesturing for the petty officer to do the work.
