Remmington decides to continue exploring town a little more. He notes the more upper tier casino and decides to go check it out before the game.

Zane wasn't addicted to gambling by any means, he did enjoy the rush though, and it could be a good way to make some extra cash. Fancy's wasn't a favorite, but it had been a while since he had been there. Walking into the Casino his eyes moved across the floor, scouting out what may be lucrative opportunities.

Remmington was a little tapped for credits at the moment too so he is just wandering around. Noticing someone doing the same he nods his head and smiles pleasantly. "Nice hat you got there friend. Can you recommend any good haberdasheries where I may find a good one?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

Z dipped his head in thanks for the compliment on his hat, it was a acceptable way to start a conversation. "I know a few, though it all dependson what you are looking for. Quality? A good price? A mix of the two?"

[Remmington Thalalas]

"A mix of two. Something that will look good and keep this oily rain from messing up my hair." Remmington complains a bit but smiles and extends his hand.

"Remmington Thalalas. I'm with the Empire for the peace talks. First time to Nar Shaddaa."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'd go and see Dwum Wane then, he's a good man, does some excellent work at a price that isn't too steep, you wouldn't quite aspect it from a sullustan, but he's who I would send you to. He has a shop in the red light district.

"Tell him Zanebry Varliss sent you, I can't guarantee it but he might give you a deal." He extended his hand to accept the other mans. "a pleasure to make your acquaintance Mr. Thalalas, as I said I'm Zanebry."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "I will definitely keep than in mind. Thank you for the information. Are you a local by the way? Is it always this dark?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

He couldn't helps but chuckle slightly at that. "Ah, my apologies Mr Thalalas, I hope I didn't offend. I'm not used to people new to this moon." He smiled and hipped his head in apology.

"You see this is about as bright as it ever gets on Nar Shaddaa, we're entering the 55th hour of the day, which means the sun recently was at it's zenith. By this time tomorrow, night will have fallen though, and it will be much darker then this."

"To answer your question though, I'm not so much of a native as a inhabitant."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Ah, so you know your way around here pretty well then. Plus you seem to know a good number of people." Remmington says as he considers something.

"I don't suppose you are interested in Hutt Ball Zanebry? Or do you prefer Mister Varliss?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'm not particular about my name Mr.Thalalas, you can feel free to call me Z if you like." It was simple and easy to pronounce.

"As for huttball, I do enjoy it, though I prefer betting on it over playing."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Will do Z. Feel free to call me Remmy, Rem, or whatever you want." Remmington replies and then considers something.

"Actually I am forming up a Hutt Ball team. I'm planning to get rich and famous doing so." He nods.

"So I have a business proposition for you if you are interested in hearing it."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He raised an eyebrow, it seemed a bit early, but he was willing to listen at the very least. "Alright then Remmy, you have my attention. Go on."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"I think I may have need for someone in the crowds during our games. I mean I can just bet myself. Though I also cannot hear what may be going on in stands while I'm playing. Basically if myself or my team is garnering any unwanted and hostile attention. Having someone like yourself will be good so you can discover any such sentiments and can gauge the potential threats and inform me about them. Plus I may attract too much attention if I bet myself.

Well this team is already going to gather a lot of attention." Remmington says with a smile.

"So what I am proposing is a bit of an exchange. Information and services. Hopefully we can also make a lot of credits from betting as well."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He listened for a few moments nodding his head at certain points. "So I'm offering a service and information, and you are offering what in exchange?" He asked after a few moments. One needed to be certain in such situations after all.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"I may be able to offer up information that you are interested in as well but mostly in the way of services. I do have some mechanical skill and can help you with upgrades and repairs should you need them. Plus I can help pay for your seat in the arena during our games." Remmington offers.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Information in interesting, though at least for the first match I'd be happier dealing with something easier, a portion of your winnings perhaps? Placing a bet for you is easy enough after all, but it also limits how much I can wager myself."

"We can discuss information in more detail at a later date, after all I'd at least want something small I could confirm before he went down that lane." He smiled. "Not that I don't trust you of course, but we must be careful with these things."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"A portion of the winnings? There is not that much earned from playing in the first place and I will be the one doing most of the work there." Remmington thinks for a moment.

"I don't have a machine shop easily available here so it will cost a little bit of money to rent one out. Though as a show of good faith, if you provide me with the parts. I will handle the rental fee and like I said before, waive the labour costs to do a small upgrade for you. Just a little bit of work like on a weapon, piece of armour, or small electronic. Nothing like a star ship. That I would probably have to charge rental fees for for the amount of work required." He chuckles a bit.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'd need something for you to work on first to make that worth my while Remmy. It is a tempting offer though." There was a easy smile on his lips as he continued.

"I was thinking of a cut of what you won betting when I mentioned betting though. Ten percent, much like the Hutts. It really won't amount to much, but it can go to form a bit of trust." They had never worked together before after all.

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington thinks for a moment. "That can cut a lot into things a lot in the long run. How about instead of the free upgrade, 10% just on the 1st match as a show of good faith? Though I hope you will also help promote and help out the team as well."

"That should be enough to get the ball rolling right?" He smiles along with the pun.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That works fine, I was only wanting a show of good faith as it were for the first time." He smiled and extended his hand.

"If things go well we can continue our talks, and find other ways of compensation? As I said I'm untreated in information."

Remmington shakes hands. "Sounds good to me Z. Here is to a great and profitable relationship."

"I'll give you my Galactic Network ID." He takes out his commlink and goes to the contact list to prepare to exchange info.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"A profitable relationship." Was Z's reply as he returned the hand shake. A moment later he slipped a small grey commlink from his pocket ready to receive the Remmy's I.D.

"Sounds good. You said you were planning a match later today?

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "That's right. It seems like I have more than enough people for a team and we're going to play in an hour or two. So I hope you can make it out. Oh, I didn't think about it before but I'm willing to split the cost for a cheap seat in order for you to watch the games and sniff for information."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Sounds like a deal to me, I'll head that way after I finish playing a few hands here." Hopefully the team was as good as the man said. "I'll hit you up on my comm after I arrive, and you can give me the details of the bet then."

Remmington nods. "You play these tables a lot Z?" He wonders how much of a gambler Zane is.
