[Dapper Dog]

Arlena picks up the data chits and says, “Well your mother killed him, if you sent him to protect me he did his job too well.”

She stands and walks across the room and pauses, “If he was a friend, well you have my condolences, Torsin.”

She is about to turn and leave where there is a smash and then a wookiee shouting followed by more sounds of chaos. Then the red furred wookiee flies into the room sprawling across the floor with a wimper.

Arlena frowns leveling her rifle as a black skinned zabrak enters the room covered in kolto liquid. He grunts and says, “Where am I?” then collapses at Sylvain’s feet.

OOC: She's lying but the Advantage is that, she does feel bad about the "death", so some commiseration for his plight. Despair should be obvious.

[Kristal Serasai]

There wasn't anything for her to say, Kristal was silent as she viewed the events in front of herself. Only after she processed it for a moment did she glance to Sylvain, was likely already half way through his reaction.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain looked down at the man at his feet and then up to Kristal's mother, "I think we may have a bit of a trust issue Mrs. Serasai."

He leaned down to the floor and picked up the Zabrak to sit him up. He looked on carefully and asked, "What has this man been through? What is this kolto?"

[Kristal Serasai]

Finally Kristal let out a breath with a few words, "Well... this is embarrassing."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain looked up to Kris, "You knew? Come on, Kris. This didn't make it into a conversation?"

His tone was more comically exasperated than genuinely disappointed.

[Dapper Dog]

“Yes, he has been in a coma for months now,” Arlena replies.

Tyron is unconscious; his breathing is shallow as he sits propped up on the chair. Arlena concerns herself with the wookiee who has no lasting injuries other then a hurt pride being flung like a rag doll by the Sith agent.

“Trust is in short supply these days Torsin,” she adds.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"It is time to call up the reserves then." He replied as he looked to his operative.

"You've brought a gift far greater than the chips... I must thank you. This man is the only way that I knew Baras had killed my father... and that Baras was ultimately behind the death of your husband. And provided me the means that I could coerce Baras into becoming his apprentice so I could avert civil war and be close enough to remove the cancer that is Baras in the heart of the Empire." He looked to the older woman.

"I know you don't trust me, you probably think this is all a lie, but your daughter knows this to be true... and she has every reason to distrust me."

[Kristal Serasai]

"It did not," she replied simply to Sylvain. Though she quickly glances down to the man and adds, "Thought we might wish to see him back into a tank."

Looking over to her mother she casts a glance to the wookie, a little unsure how to voice the question that was sitting on her mind. And partially just holding it back because it didn't feel like the time to ask about the wookie.

When Sylvain continued she could only continue to listen in silence.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain lifted the man up off the seat and place his shoulder under the man's arm.

"I'm guessing it's in there." He said as he walked laboriously carrying the man into the other room.

[Dapper Dog]

The tank is smashed as Arlena helps bring him back and the room is a mess. She frowns and says, "This could be a problem."

The wookiee agrees with her sentiment.

"I have a place I can take him, but I can't take either of you with me. I need to leave now if I am going to make it in time to keep him alive."

She says to Sylvain, "I am not leaving, not like that. You want trust, then let me take him."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain looked to Arlena and pondered only for a moment before bowing his head in agreement. "I trust you. Do what you must."

[Dapper Dog]

“This will sound harsher then intended, but I need you to get off my ship. Once I am safe I will reach out to Kristal… and you,” she says reluctantly.

She turns to the wookiee and says, “Get the ship ready for takeoff.” She then lays Tyron down on a table and waits for the Sith to move.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded and swiftly moved to the exit without protest.

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal stood and moved toward the door, knowing time was a factor put haste in her steps but she stopped near the exit after Sylvain had already left.

Pausing there she looked back, "It was.." she held the words for a moment. Losing that colder undertone she often had. ".. good to see you, Mother."

[Dapper Dog]

She smiles, it’s genuine but time was of the essence. Once both are ff the ship the old light freighter begins take off leaving the two Sith alone with a ton of questions.

[Sylvain Torsin]

SylvaIn looked up at the ship as it took off and offered a single chuckle, "All things considered... I felt that went well. I mean... she wanted to kill me at the start..."

[Kristal Serasai]

"She still does," she added as she watched the ship depart from a safe distance. Left with the thousands of questions that brought up and only a token few answers. Still, it was a perfectly timed reminder of the woman her mother was. The woman that Kristal Serasai was. Looking down at her left arm she formed a fist, reasserting herself and squaring her shoulders before she looked back from the little moment to herself.

"I suppose this means we will need to talk," she said, not really sure where to start.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "I suppose it does."

He smiled softly, "As always I am an open book to you Kris. You may ask whatever you want and I will be fully honest with you."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I had thought you would have more questions for me," she admitted honestly. Turning and walking back, somewhere. Not just standing around. Assuming Sylvain would follow.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain did follow and pulled up alongside her as they began to walk, "I'm making a concerted effort to be less eager. Last time I was overeager, my own weakness almost made me lose you forever... and I plan on learning from my mistakes."

He paused for a moment, "But I do have perhaps a few... I understand the timing around the loss of my operative and why you would not have mentioned it... But I do wonder what you think of me at this point? I hope you don't believe what your mother had said... but I suppose I cannot ask for much. When we chatted on the way here I felt that you were at first excited to hear from me, but since then I've sensed a bit of distance... It is understandable, but knowing your thoughts would help me know how best I can help you without becoming a burden or over-imposing myself."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I would not be speaking with you now, and you would likely be dead, if I believed what my mother said of you," she said honestly. Knowing how things played out that blaster bolt her mother kept threatening would have likely found it's mark if it wasn't for Kristal. Just as her mother admitted.

Kristal stopped and looked to Sylvain, squaring her shoulders, "You are an idiot Sylvain but you are not a monster," she added, again rather honestly. Maybe a tad much but.. it was Kristal. Turning back toward walking she continued. "I have just had... a lot on my mind."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Given my behavior, I cannot disagree with that assessment." He nodded.

"What things are on your mind?" He asked with the familiar Sylvain kindness and obvious desire to listen to his friend.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Nothing that needs to be spoken of now," she said, looking forward. "What is your next move? Now that my mother has the chips?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

She's being so cryptic. Let her be.

"The next step will be to confront my mother... I plan on contacting her immediately. I've been deliberately left out on discussions about the Magpie and now I know why... what I don't know is why Baras is after her now." He replied.

"I have a copy of the data I collected, I will peruse it... I invite you to join me if you'd like. And with your mother... I will just wait. I hope she comes to see the truth about me. She is an exceptionally resourceful woman, and having her as our ally would be a great boon."

He continued, "Anhel spoke with Shaisha and I this evening. In short, he is terrified of you, and we talked him into finding out those responsible behind the plot. The man is a spineless worm, not the root of our problems by any means."

[Kristal Serasai]

"Sylvain," she said turning to him again and taking a hold of his hand as she knew how what she was about to say would sound. However, before she started she obviously recoiled a bit and looked down at her hands. Kristal's fight against something internal was obvious but she pushed through it anyway and looked up to him again and continued in a light tone, "I want you to be ready for the possibility that your Mother is not the woman you thought she was."

The other parts she would get to later, but now she wanted to focus on this.
