Playing a memory (Day 1 Early Night The Hollow)

[Zanebry Varliss]

The Hollow was somewhat of a small bar, long and narrow and dominated by a bar along most of it's length, there was a small stage on the wall opposite the entrance where live bands often played. Immediately in front of the stage was a small dance floor, with barely enough space for a dozen couples. A handful of tables occupied the rest of the space they were solidly built and seated four. . It was run by a retired Muun man by the name Talor Hill, an expert in cocktails, it was the quality of his drinks that kept the door open more then the quantity.

As the night wore on and the band started to play something sexy and slow, Z found himself at the bar unfortunately alone. Of course he could of found a woman to take out after Naveera left, but seeing her had drug up old memories, the type that made him want a drink.

Signaling Talor to come over, he ordered a Kolto, it was a strange concoction, and some said it tasted like medicine, but he rather liked it.

[Nekoinu]

"This place is pretty small, isn't it," a woman announced next to him. She looked him dead in the yes with her lips crooked. "I expected the bars here to be bigger. But maybe that's the part of the appeal. Nice hat, by the way."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He looked over as she spoke, his lips curling into a smile, and his eyes matching hers. "I like to think it's the quality of the drinks that count, not that size of the bar."

His smile persisted as he continued. "Thank you, I'm quite fond of it myself." There was a brief pause as he took a sip of his drink. "I don't believe we met though, and I'm not one to forget such an attractive woman. I'm Zanebry, but you can call me Zan or just Z"

[Nekoinu]

"The quality of the drinks? If I hadn't drank so much at the little get together at Club Vertica, I'd consider trying one here. But it'd be kind of bad for my reputation to get too intoxicated, now wouldn't it?" She let out a small laugh. "No, we haven't met before. I'm Ralnorrei. Lord Ralnorrei, really. I'm a Sith Lord, whether people like it or not." She kept her eyes on him in anticipation of his response.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Possibly, but most that come here aren't the talkative sort, so I'd you're safe, at least for one more." He smiled easily. "If you're still worried though, I could ask Talor to mix up something with only a little bit of alcohol in it, or none at all. My treat."

As she mentioned she was a sith lord he raised a eyebrow, but he didn't back down, in for a pinchin for a pound. "Never thought I'd meet a Sith Lord, in this bar. What should I call you them? I'm a bit unsure of the protocol. It is Lord? Lord Ralnorrei? Just Ralnorrei? Or perhaps something else?"

[Nekoinu]

"Fine. One more drink it is," she said with a small smirk. "As for how to refer to me, it's usually, 'my Lord' in the Empire. As for your expectations, well, I like to break the mold. Surely there's nothing wrong with that."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Something light right?" He asked to confirm as he waved the bartender over. "My lord it is then, unless you would prefer something different." They weren't in the empire after all.

"Not at all, I'd say it's refreshing more then anything. You do have me curious though; if you don't mind me asking, why come to a bar if not to drink? Just to check out the Nar Shadda night life?" His lips curled into a sly smile. "Or to dance perhaps?" Zane asked as he motioned towards the half empty dance floor."

[Nekoinu]

"Lord Ralnorrei also works. And whatever you recommend. It's your favorite bar, apparently," she remarked with a wink.

"Yeah, I wanted to see all this moon had to offer. And I suppose that also means dancing." The Sith Lord held out her hand to be led to the floor. "Show me what you can do, Z."

[Zanebry Varliss]

Her response received a smile and a dip of his head in understand before he turned his eyes towards the Bartender. "Could you get a dantoine dewback for the lady Talor? On my tab."

"As you wish my Lord." He replied with a easy, before rising to his feet. Taking her offered hand he led her slowly towards the floor, weaving between the tables until they they finally arrived. The music was slow, and a bit sensual, so he gave her hand a small tug and pulled her close, letting his other make its way to her hip, as he began a slow dance. The pace didn't last though, as the music picked up pace so did his movements, incorporating spins, quick steps, and more then a little bit of body on body contact. Hopefully she wasn't shy.

The Zabrak followed along without hesitation. She smiled as she followed every step without hesitation. "Is this what you normally do or am I special because I'm a Sith Lord?" she asked with a crooked smile.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Would you believe me if i said no my lord?" He asked, his tone a bit teasing as he moved into a dip, letting her linger for a moment before sliding her back up to standing. Moving into a couple of quick steps he smiled looking into her eyes. "Truth of the matter is, it depends on the woman."

"When I have an attractive partner, who knows her way around the dance floor, I'm encouraged to try and show her a good time. So I suppose you can it's because you're special, and not just because your a Sith Lord."

[Nekoinu]

"I'm touched. It's good to be appreciated so soon after landing on this moon." Ralnorrei continued along, still letting him take the lead. "So how does a man like you end up here? Just like the lifestyle or something else?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

The band slowed again, the tempo dropping to something slow and sexy and so did the dance, Z leading her through the steps, their bodies nearly glued together. "I retired young, with only a few vague Ideas of what I wanted to do with my life, so using my pension I bought a ship." He explained slowly as they danced.

"I wandered the Outer Rim a bit before finally arriving here, and I guess you can say I've come to like it. I suppose it might be the lifestyle? It's just so different day to day, I can't say I experienced anything quite like it. Perhaps it's the excitement?"

[Nekoinu]

"An early retirement? Typically people like that have some involvement with military operations." She drew herself closer to him and asked to his ear, "Which one?"

She pulled back and continued the dance. "I can appreciate a life of excitement. I try to live one myself, even as a Sith Lord."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Republic, though those days are far behind me, I tend to abstain from pick side these days." He answered softly in her ear, there was no reason to lie after all, the information was readily available. Though he couldn't say what her reaction might be.

His lips curled into a wicked little smile as he caught her eyes once again. "And just how exciting were you wanting to make this night my lord?"

[Nekoinu]

"Republic? Now isn't this a scandal in the making? A Sith Lord and an ex-Republic, well, whatever you were."

Ralnorrei kept her gaze on his. "And what exactly are you hoping to get, Z?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Sergeant." He offered helpfully, that was at least officially what he retired at.

"A lot of things my lord." He replied pausing a moment before counting.

"But tonight, with you... A bit more time together, at a locations that's far less crowded."

[Nekoinu]

"Sergeant Zanebry. Sergeant Zan. Sergeant Z." She played with each title as if her life depended on it.

"Oh? But this place is so empty already. Where else could you possibly have in mind?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

The way she repeated his name was a bit odd, but he decided to pay it no mind at least for the moment. Hopefully it wouldn't end up causing too much trouble.

His lips quirked into a amused smile. "Well, if your place is completely out of the question, I know a few places we can go." A brief pause. "You said you wanted to see what this moon had to offer after all."

[Nekoinu]

"Oh I really can't decide which one I like the most. It's really just too much," she said with a mock pout in regards to the names.

Ralnorrei's eyes widened and her devious smile did too. "So that's what you're after. Such a naughty man for one whom I thought was a gentleman."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I liked the way Z rolled off your lips, if that's any help my lord." He offered playful, before sending her away in a spin.

Moments later he pulled her in so her back would face his chest, his arm across her stomach. "I can be a gentleman and naughty too you know." He whispered in her ear as they swayed. "But still I'll ask, which would you like to spend time with this evening."

[Nekoinu]

"Sergeant Z. That couldn't have been very formal among the military."

Ralnorrei leaned back into him, the grin still on her face. "Are you usually this forthcoming or am I still as special as you claimed?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I was young then, formality seemed so very stuffy."

His lips remained close to her ear as he answered. "I'm not one to lie to an attractive woman My Lord, if I've said your special once I meant it. If you must have a answer though. No, I'm not usually so forthcoming, but then women don't usually ask me such straight forward question."

[Nekoinu]

"Now I want to see you in uniform."

She let out a small laugh. "I'm a Sith Lord, Sergeant Z, and a special one at that. To think me predictable would be a big mistake," she said, with each word becoming slowly more and more enunciated.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"It's a pity then that I no longer have any, not a lot of space on a ship for a wardrobe, even on a small freighter."

He smiled as she laughed. "I'm guessing it would be wise of me to remember that." Not that he had really forgotten, pushed it into the back of his mind perhaps but not forgotten. He spun her around so they were once again facing each other, hand moving to her waist again as he continued to dance. "Though I also admit to being curious about how you'll surprise me next."
